Abstract Art is Not Bad Art! Learning to Understand Abstraction with Cy Twombly.

An art experiment (not unlike a thought experiment) inspired by the work of American painter Cy Twombly. His work is covered in emotional scribbles yet somehow subtle and sublime. I love it and I loved making this piece. Making abstract art can be oh so enjoyable and sometimes even feel transcendent. That's one of the many reasons it matters. Joe Rogan can suck it. :D

Love abstract ! Thought came to mind as you were talking about emotions rising up. My thought when looking at your painting was Everything beautiful dies, just like a vase of beautiful flowers. Everything is temporary and we can take nothing with us from this material world, so just enjoy the beautiful.
