I never had noggin until I was like 7 (so roughly 2003 or 2004) and I am kind of glad the orignal indents look freaky. These remind me of adult swims indents.

This is what I think those nick jr guys are
Nick, the orange one, is the big brother to jr, the small blue one. Jr is very playful, nick is also playful. They are made of clay. So they can morph into anything, but when they are in their humanoid form. They. Well... are a humans. In an animal form. Nick is like the parent and jr is the child.

I used to watch Noggin all the time when I was little. On the morning of September 28th 2009, I turned on what should have been Noggin. The first thing I saw was Moose and Zee singing the rhyming blues, normal Noggin stuff, right? It wasn't until the song was done when the new logo came up on the TV screen. Soon after, the new Nick Jr intro started with Moose announcing that Noggin was now Nick Jr.
Don't be sad about missing noggin hey maybe someday there'll be a new noggin and maybe it'll have brand new shows I am so sorry they took away noggin from you and we all miss noggin I don't really remember watching it but it looks like a great channel

mkay.. This is to answer the question about the whole Noggin and Nick Jr. Crisis...
Moose and Zee (the moose and bird) are owned by Life Noggin.. Idk if Life Noggin is a sister network of Nick Jr.... I'm pretty sure it is.. or maybe it was first Nick Jr. later to be changed to Life Noggin, then they both became seperate companies..
UPDATE:
After doing some research, It turns out that Nick Jr. was bought by Noggin, and Noggin is a brand.. plus, this is what I found on Wikipedia "Due to the Nickelodeon block, Nick Jr. is sometimes disclaimed on air as "the Nick Jr. channel" to avert confusion, especially times of day where both Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. are both carrying preschool programming. The channel was originally known as Noggin from its February 2, 1999 launch until September 28, 2009." which in my opinion.. doesn't answer my question..
Okay, Nick Jr. was a block on Nickelodeon at the time while Noggin was a separate channel, which were both owned by Nickelodeon.
In 2009, Nickelodeon decided to rebrand and the block, Nick Jr. then became a channel and replaced Noggin entirely.
They technically were never sister channels.
Also it's not life noggin.
