Hey goose I got a question I have a stroker so this pan won't work but my question is does the holley 302-3 have the clearance on the steering parts?

I tried this pan in my 65 chevelle and it wouldn't work. Hits the front crossmember. Had to get the holley 302-2 pan. Tons of room. Don't take a chance like I did, just get the holley and be done. It was specifically designed for A body cars....

@@goosseperformance1444 I'm running a 6.0 with a 4l80e and she's already real tight in the stock small block location. Transmission is a monster compared to the stock powerglide. It fit in my car without tunnel mods though...

Damm Gina, didn't see you use any RTV on the rear main seal or timing cover?

Would you say this pan is similar to the Holley 302-3? I need it to accommodate a 4.00” stroke . Thanks!

Since you bought this pan can you still run with factory style frame motor mounts or do I have to change them to a different style with a ls swap??

I just bought the 81073 version and it is perfect for me. But the hundred dollars isn't for just the name, it's what Holley needed to fund all the research and development to bring these products to market, not hating on anyone, I get it too, 100 bucks is 100 bucks. Just saying tho, these pans were getting is a copy and this company had zero R&D cost. That's why they can sell cheaper. We should really try to support the company's that help bring these products out and onto the market, not their competitors...
That said. I do totally get it. I'm broke so I ain't supporting squat... lol
