I really love the academy’s theme , it makes their intro so compelling . Keep up the good work !

Return of the legends
Faction theme fits perfect and amazing to each of them, (I only lack New World Order and secret vibe for Initiative)
My favourite is the Academy One.
The initiative theme sounds so good, it makes me feel ashamed as trying to learn as resistance
Actualy all themes except maybe second part of aliens theme and resistence are extremly good sounding and represent their factions well.
Winning the game as the Initiative made me feel very conflicted xD They have very ambitious but very dystopic goals
Terra Invicta brought me here.
The Initiative is a banger like in the ending
The Humanity first theme reminds me of the Starship Troopers movie.

Are there gonna be expanded versions of these on the full soundtrack? Been enjoying the game so far. My favorite faction music is the protectorate and initiative.
There are two versions of the themes for intro and game end cutscenes. We are not sure yet if there will be longer versions since if the themes show up during the game it would most likely be shorter vignettes.

Servants theme is really good. Sounds very cultish and deranged. And after reading several research notes and discovering some lore about Superior Judith Howell this track is spot on.
Theme at the start from 0 to 40 second should really be Alien Theme. It's terrifying and I can feel the might of the alien fleet.
That's an idea we hadn't considered yet. We have a good set of Alien battle tracks already but we might sit down and build this one out into another one.
@@breakdownepiphanies3364 one thing that I thought would be cool is that if you end up making a full version, the music should play in hopeless situations were the player is very overwhelmed for example, this could occur when the aliens have a 4K fleet against the player who has 1k
so is the opening sequence the alien theme?
We didn't write it with that in mind, it is supposed to be more of a tension and atmosphere build up. The alien battle tracks would come closest to alien themes in terms of instrumentation and style. We'll release one of those on Sunday.

The thing about this game is that your first batle willl be at 3-4 hours of game, and the batle themes are so climatic, because It os really a climatic situation, the tension os high and the OST os great.

Ngl. I would love to have an extended version of the protectorate theme.

Exodus track sounds a bit differently in the game
Some are from the intros and some are from the ending cut scenes
Also when can we expect full release of the ost. During managing my political affairs on earth i was surprised by the all tracks. I want to buy this ost.
We'll publish it on Steam once all the tracks are in the game. Will happen over the course of the early access period. Glad you are enjoying the music so far!

I know most the hype is around the Humanity First faction, but the Academy seems like the most logical choice in regards of dealing with the alien visitation situation.
In order to destroy the aliens, you must have the technology to do so of which contributes to the same idea of building humanity up enough to stand against the aliens and end the conflict in the scenario that the aliens learn to respect humanity and have a little "you do you and I do me" outcome. Avoiding a long-drawn-out war against the aliens even if humanity wins in Sol. The Academy wants to end the conflict but not by fighting the aliens head on or striking them on our turf, but by earning the respect of the aliens. Peaceful conclusion.
The struggles of the Academy faces along the way makes its ending pay off much more.
@@theoheinrich529 I myself have only gotten to mid-Mars colonization on my Academy play through. Still new to the game and didn’t use the Resistance tutorial. I just jumped into the Academy and gave it a whirl. 20 restarts later and I’m learning slowly but counselors are so confusing.
@cosmicaesthetics6260 councilors? I'm confused on how the ai has 0.7 boost income with 0 nations controlled. Like bruh. I'm also confused about tech.
