I consider myself BLESSED to see Elvis LIVE in concert in 1976! I was 14 y/o and memorized!! My MOST treasured keepsake is the scarf he handed to me...47 years later, I STILL cherish it!! I miss him SO MUCH!!😢
The first concert I ever went to was seeing Elvis in 1972. I have been to so many concerts since then. Not ONE can match the showmanship, the entertainment, the talent, and the voice of Elvis in concert!
With all of the talent and entertainment Elvis had in his soul... marvel at the musicians he surrounded himself with.... the bassist is SMOKIN' that axe....
The fact that people all over the world know who Elvis is without him ever touring internationally is a testament to just how talented he and the musicians/singers he surrounded himself with were.
Elvis built that band behind him, before these performance, and demanded they give him the sound he heard in his mind, every performance, and at the period was a huge sound. Notice how he looks back, at Horns, drummer, choirs.
When God created my friend Elvis he was just showing off. I can't tell you how much i love and miss him, there is not a day that goes by that i don't think of him and all the memories we made in 10 short years, his death knocked the wind out of me his funeral broke me. i have never been the same since, Elvis was the big brother i never had. He is also my guardian angel. Graceland is my go to place when it get's to hard to live w/o my friend i go there and walk around and remember Elvis and all the beautiful times we had together. He was the only person in my life that understood me and cared about my feelings and opinions. What it comes down to is we both needed a true friend and we were that for each other. I called him sexy jello because of the way he shook his legs and hips the 1st time i called him that he couldn't stop laughing. God bless you and your family from the one and only Memphis Tn. #forevermyking.
I have been a fan since I was 6 or 7 years old. From what I have seen in documentaries, he was an amazing, generous, kind hearted person. So sorry for your loss.
I love any form of Elvis's music BUT I must say his live performance video's are the absolute BEST. Nothing can match his energy, his presence, seeing his expressions and humor while performing. Its so much fun, you can't stop from smiling when he smiles, swooning when he sings softly of love.. laughing when he shows his humorous side.. I can't even guess how many hours I've spent watching his video's, singing, interviews with him or with people that knew him, that had insight into the workings of his mind.. He was a very special person, on stage and off.. RIP Elvis, you are loved and missed always.
Elvis was an eighth degree black belt and he would incorporate his karate moves into his stage performances. Plus if he was in a real great mood he loved to joke around with his band members.
Elvis was and still is the SH*T. He was amazing that's why we are watching and listening almost 50 years after we lost him. I was born 8 years after his death. I can't remember my life without listening to Elvis. From a third generation Elvis fan thank you for keeping Elvis alive
There is an interview with his Vegas drummer and he never knew what Elvis would do or how many times he might repeats something, he just had to watch. O Lordy Miss Claudy. You need to see his really young stuff.
There is a version of this song when he was in LV and he got into his squat and was close to the audience and looked at one of the ladies and said "I hope this suit don't tear up baby."
Elvis was my first concert in 1972 …. Will never see a show like his ever again . I have seen everyone from Jackson 5’s -to Alice Cooper and 100’s in between… Elvis still put the best show on true showman
He was at the top of his game here! He’s Karate “black belt”, (hence the outfit) kept him in shape and definitely was able to control his breathing through this.He was full blown in his career! Glad I grew up watching it! I hope you grow to appreciate the Legacy! ALWAYS great live!!!
…I've never heard a better male voice than Elvis's...amazingly good...no other entertainer has matched his charisma and sex appeal, to this day!! ✨💎✨🎸🕺🏻🔥 Thank you
In Vegas in '69 and '70 Elvis was doing 2 shows daily for 28 straight days (56 shows), rest a week then leave for 12 and 13 city tours. Unsustainable for a human without eventually killing you. Hmmm. He was loved to death. Thanks for experiencing Elvis.
Tragic and Sad . This would have been one of the only times I’d be a fan of Social media . The public would’ve put to much pressure on dipshit colonel for dogging him like that . I also think the public would’ve revolted as they saw him deteriorate right before our eyes . Trust me he probably would’ve gotten the help for his addiction . He so desperately needed . Social media causes people to lose their careers . Don’t underestimate the power of it . Different time and era .
i saw Elvis in '70, '71, '74, '75 and '76, and i've also seen countless others live, and nobody has ever come close to the magic of Elvis in Person. and as far as i'm concerned no one ever will. try some of the '68 comeback special. 'tryin' to get to you', 'lawdy, miss clawdy', 'one night', and all the rest are just next level for pure raw Elvis.
Ive have loved Elvis since the early 60's. I saw him live 5 times from Nov 71 to Nov 76. I am even more obsessed with him now. Finally went to Graceland last month and will go again next year
A lot of Elvis' moves were used to get his drummer, the legendary Ronnie Tutt, to kick it up a notch. Elvis loved playing around on stage to see if Ronnie was paying close attention. ☺
ELVIS had 778 more songs for you to cover! So please, give us MORE ELVIS! He was a chameleon of sorts...his voice, clothes, and variety of song choice! If you are not aware of his unbelievable humanity, then you really should do a little research and learn what this very extroardinary man was made of! He literally gave away more money, homes, cars, jewelry than any other artist has even come close to. He was a spectacular showman; YES, but he was such a wonderful man! We need more ELVIS PRESLEY'S in this world! It would be a much, much better world! 😢
Great classy reaction guys to an entertainer who wasn't revered and so mega successful because he was 'ordinary. If you continue you will see he was not a one trick pony and can change the mood and genre with ease
elvis vegas run was 8 years. not show and go. His backup groups were a leading southern gospel men's group and the soul sisters Sweet Temtation. And the instrumentalists were all real pros. With Elvis as the featured front man and all this talent behind him. He was ENTERTAINING and talented and fun and touching and HIS AUDIENCE LOVED HIM. HIghlight of many lives seeing Elvis show in Vegas. You need to see the one where he goes into the audience kissing the women. For a pure vocal performance check out If I Can Dream -but be ready, it's an all-time great performance and message.
Great job, I think it's smart to compare performers eras. This of course was in 1970 Vegas. This shows the performer that knew how to entertain, he joked a lot with his fans. He won all attendance records that to this day have never been broken. Thanks for your reaction. Be Blessed
A great song to see his true range is from his 1973 Aloha from Hawaii satellite performance of American Trilogy. Was the first ever live performance broadcast by satellite around the world that was watched by one and a half billion people. Watched by more people than the first moonwalk.
The reason why he is better live not only does he enjoy it he feels the energy and he goes with the flow a very good one that you like to see it's show is Love me tender a must for you two as a couple to say what would you act if you were there live on the Las Vegas act before Elvis it was known as a place for entertainers to die because it was pretty much the end of their careers Elvis is a big reason that Las Vegas is the way it is today in fact with Elvis entertain Las Vegas as a whole group 10% more that's why I lost Vegas gave him a gold-plated belt again tried Love me tender and how would you act if you were there and Elvis did this thank you guys for your reaction
Met Elvis in 1969 when I was a bellhop at the Jockey Club in Miami and it was my turn to unload his limo and take his luggage up to his room. He had one huge Steamer trunk that I asked him where to put it I picked it up and he said Damn Hoss it took 2 people to load that in the Limo, and asked how tall I was and told him 6'5" and I just returned from Nam and he said welcome home, then told one of his guys to gave me a $10
Enjoyed your reactions. I grew up as a fan watching Elvis movies, and listening to him on the radio. When I watched the 1968 TV special, at 13, I was like, “Is this the same person?”. The 1973 Hawaii broadcast showed another side of him as a performer. Saw him in concert 1974..
There was a stretch where Elvis did 2 shows a night 30 days in a row in Las Vegas! PURE ENTERTAINER Elvis had a twin that died in infancy. Jesse Garon Presley Nice video!!
Elvis always referred to himself as an entertainer, & he liked to do whatever the music wanted his body to do, just as he had done since he first started performing live as a 19 year old in 1954. That’s why his fans would go to as many as ten+ concerts, because they always knew to expect the unexpected. Elvis also did all his own musical arrangements, & instructed the backup singers as to what he wanted them to do. And he never took himself too seriously. He was very confident & comfortable on stage, although he was always nervous before going on stage. Once he went on stage, his on-stage extrovert persona took over & he enjoyed himself. He is actually known to have been a shy introvert, & found interviews a less than great experience, which is why he didn’t do them unless he absolutely had to. Always polite & respectful to everyone around him, & loved joking around on stage & off. Been a fan for almost sixty years, & my wife too.
This is 1970s Las Vegas Elvis, after he was well established and had done some movies. You might want to see 1950s Elvis, when he first hit the scene. Songs like "Hound Dog" and "Jail House Rock" were really his signature songs. 3/13/23
Love your doing the studio take first as just like you say you get to hear really what he is about before seeing the showman side. A great song to highlight this is "In the Ghetto" where the studio version is just divine and the live one is different as he made it a bit more upbeat. Keep up the journey and look forward to more of your Elvis reaction. Hi from England.
When Elvis first came out I was not a fan. I preferred his friend and fellow Sun Records singer Johnny Cash. Then when he was drafted into the Army I felt, he is one of us. He didn't try to run away and or buy his way out due to his celebrity he went into the service, kept his nose clean and served his country. I really got into his music once he got back to civilian life and he became of my favorites. RIP Elvis, and thank you for the memories. You indeed, were one of us Southern boys who knew how to live life.
It was definitely one of my favorite performance of PS I loved him so much and always well. It was amazing and the best thing ever and a Fantastic performer as well. He also had a huge heart of gold where he was so giving and caring. Love him so much there is no one like Elvis
My favorite Singer was Elvis and my favorite group the Bee Gees. I remember seeing him on TV as a kid. I was almost 13 Years old when Elvis passed away! Now you see why pne of Elvis Nicknames was Elvis the Pelvis!
Some of Elvis's moves were his karate moves, like his squats. Elvis was a great dancer and performer, so you really do need to see him perform Live. He had so much energy, and he was such a handsome man! Awesome performance. He always gave his All. React to Elvis singing: "In the Ghetto", "Kentucky Rain", 'If I Can Dream".
That’s why he wore these jumpsuits…less resistance to splitting and bunching up just by the nature of his high energy movements
Elvis couldn't help himself. He felt the music deeply and hence couldn't not move
We are true fans
After he scared his backup singer, he does the coolest spin I've ever seen!!! 😎🕺
Yes!!!
I can't believe more people don't comment on that. You are so right.
I consider myself BLESSED to see Elvis LIVE in concert in 1976! I was 14 y/o and memorized!! My MOST treasured keepsake is the scarf he handed to me...47 years later, I STILL cherish it!! I miss him SO MUCH!!😢
Me 2 1976 Concert I was 16, You could feel the Electricity in the air! Crazy!
The first concert I ever went to was seeing Elvis in 1972. I have been to so many concerts since then. Not ONE can match the showmanship, the entertainment, the talent, and the voice of Elvis in concert!
You lucky to see live.😊
I saw him in 1976, too! My parents took me as part of my high school graduation gift. I’ll be forever grateful that I was able to see him in concert.
Wow!
Elvis had an 8th degree black belt!! He was flexible for sure. ❤
Wow he is The King. Could watch him forever.
With all of the talent and entertainment Elvis had in his soul... marvel at the musicians he surrounded himself with.... the bassist is SMOKIN' that axe....

He’s so beautiful!!
I was blessed to see him three times the last being only 11 weeks before he left us he did not look good but his voice was still incredible

Elvis mimicking Ron Tutt's drums is a classic.
Elvis is the King for a reason..
I love Elvis Presley thanks
Seen him in the Nassau coliseum in 1974 ! I was 12 ! Absolutely amazing experience
Elvis was outstanding, also his drummer the late Ronnie Tutt was excellent.

Elvis la bombe du siècle.. THANK YOU VERY MUCH 😎😀😄😁😜
This is one of Elvis greatest performances ever. I Love Suspicious minds. Please react to Elvis What Now My Love and You Gave Me A Mountain
Great reaction! More Elvis please, recommend Trying to get to you 1968
Cool! Thank you!
“Trying to get to you” from Elvis’s 68 Comeback Special shows him raw and powerful!
Elvis was the greatest entertainer who ever lived to quote the great Celine Dion.
It's just amazing that spin after he makes that slow down with the choir
Thank you for listening to our legend king Elvis, miss n love him for all this years😭😭😭😘
It was definitely one of my favorite performance of PS I loved him so much and always well. It was amazing and the best thing ever and a Fantastic performer as well. He also had a huge heart of gold where he was so giving and caring. Love him so much there is no one like Elvis

You should watch his "last" performance: "Unchained Melody"... It's both sad and impressive. The man was the GOAT til his end.
Some of Elvis's moves were his karate moves, like his squats. Elvis was a great dancer and performer, so you really do need to see him perform Live. Elvis live las vegas 1970 love me tender , check it out
Great reaction!! To me, if you hear it live, you’ve basically heard the studio version. This was just sooo much fun! ❤
So good!
That was from the 1970 concert in Las Vegas, which is in my opinion is the best concert Elvis has ever done
