I just love how Fauna panics and screams over the mistakes she makes when handling her pikmin.

As a kid, Pikmin scared me. It didn’t help that Luigis mansion had a trailer in-game showcasing it.
Same! Especially the caves in Pikmin 2 and the Forest Navel in Pikmin 1.
In fact, when playing Pikmin 1, I used to enter Forest Navel just to get Blues and the easier ship parts that are right next to the landing site, then return to older areas to get all the ship parts there, then skip to the Distant Spring and complete that before returning to the Forest Navel to complete it. 😅
What’s also funny is that I used to find Luigi’s Mansion way scarier than games like Resident Evil. I dunno why, but I just found cartoon ghosts scarier than pseudo-realistic zombies, monsters, and cultists (which I found more disturbing and annoying than scary). Maybe it was because ghosts can pass through walls and could appear from anywhere, even out of thin air. Maybe it was because I had a stronger emotional connection to Luigi and Pikmin than to any RE or other horror character. Maybe it was because I had an easier time suspending my disbelief with cartoonish art styles at the time than with more realistic art styles, so I felt more immersed and so got scared easier.
But yeah, the jumpscares from ghosts in Luigi’s Mansion and the death screams of Pikmin instilled way more terror in me than any actual horror games (besides Eternal Darkness, and that one mainly scared me because of the low-Sanity effects). I also used to find the Boos in Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine scary, to the point I would outright avoid Big Boo’s Haunt and Sirena Beach.
Wait until she finds the Doomsday Apparatus... that's what it's called yeah?
Fauna is going to need mental therapy once she finishes Pikmin 2. 😂

That was hilarious. She did good against it. Was expecting for her to have like 10 or less Pikmin by the end of the boss fight. I've heard Pikmin 3 is the hardest, but I never played it. I wonder if she'll play it in the future.
Pikmin 3 is the easiest, I don't know who you heard that from, but they were probably trolling you.
@AlastorShadow0 he mentioned something about a time limit, and a multi stage final boss. Since I didn't have a Wii U, I never played it.

considering fauna isn't save scumming she's been doing great. I wouldn't want to play the game at all if there was no option to restart a cave level after some dumb thing killed half the crew
The time limit is pretty generous and the final boss, while a bit challenging, is definitely manageable. As someone who played through every Pikmin game 3 is easy. A great game, but after 2 it’s a piece of cake
