Its absolutely amazing the almost "cult" sensation, is sweeping across the internet like wildfire.
About 2 years ago, the Angkor Wat Temple Troupes, of Cambodia, had 4 troupes (of Long-Tailed, and the Pig-Tailed species of Macaques) they had approximately a dozen or so VOs filming, following, and observing.
Around the same time, Arroz's Channel was started and shown to me for the first time. His Channel is so far beyond the A/V in tech, commentary, cinematography, and professional capabilities, of ANY of the VOs and Cameramen that Film and Post their daily videos from The Cambodian Temple to RUclips.
And, you know, there are now, probably VOs numbering close to the 100 range, AT LEAST!
I can knowingly name at least 6 to 8 troupes of Macaques that these dozens of VOs and intrusive Cameramen film on a daily basis, beginning when the troupes first come down from the treetops to start their day.
After following the different troupes and different troupe members for every single second they are awake during the day. And, the poor things usually put up with i-phone's, and selfie sticks, along with sone "really nice" professional camera gear, 2 inches away from their faces, all at the same time! Its not right!
It is so very sad the way we have these intelligent creatures being caused so many health hazards because of the VOs and tourists, their feeding of them, the medical attention given to so many, abandoned and orphaned day-old babies, "rescued" to be raised with human parents, never knowing anything about the macaque species they truly are, and how to live their lives, as such. It causes so much tragedy, ANY time we, as humans, starting interfering with any and all aspects of their lives. We destroy every living thing we come into contact with.
It simply sucks that these trusting animals (who definitely shouldn't be, trusting us) are facing ALL KINDS of new diseases, environmental problems, difficult reproduction, as well as accelerated reproduction rates, ALL because of us! It suckx!
I want to Apologize to the primates of these troupes who have to deal with things that they should never even know exists. As much as I do wish I could apologize to these animals, I know that is not possible, in any way, unless I do something that changes the bad situations of these troupes of innocent primates, for the betterment of all of the species, troupes, and their individual members.
Its unreal. We, the viewers who actually care for the monkeys and macaques, should unsubscribe from all the Channels that lie, manipulate viewers, sway completely incorrect opinions and facts. (NOT ARROZ!) He is one of the, maybe, 6 or 7 VOs and their Channels that I truly believe in, that I feel comfortable in vouching for, concerning his sincere love of, and caring for, these Mountain Macaques and their welfare, along with their future quality of life.
He does this, along with making sure, he does interfere or affect the habitats, or the ancient evolutionary ways of their traditional lives.
I will be working on this project, from now until I can make some positive changes for these beautiful and intelligent creatures. We owe them at least that.

It is so understandable. A belly full of easy, warm, rich milk while being cuddled in soft fur is SO much nicer than climbing a tree and picking one cold, hard berry at a time or searching among the grasses for seeds and leaves... but they gotta grow up, like every living baby in the world. God bless these moms - they try to do it gently and when they won't open the milk bar, they will hug and groom.

Caroline Mole hi Caroline, I thought that I would reach out and share a story with you because you mentioned Elsa in Born Free. As a result of my fathers engineering job I was privileged enough to have grown up in Kenya. As a child my mother was fairly good friends with Joy Adamson! I remember that we would go to visit her at her home near lake Naivasha in the Rift Valley. Although she was wonderful with animals, she was not especially likable and she did not care much for other people. I can still hear her telling me off as a child because I was making too much noise and disturbing her Columbus monkeys! Lol! She was also very mean to her sweet husband George. The story goes that she was killed by some wild animals, but around Nairobi there was talk that either her cook or gardener had killed her because they got tired of being mistreated by her! Thought you might enjoy the inside scoop!😀

These rhesus sure know their stuff
If a mother long tail or pig tail gathers baby up under them the babies take the opportunity to suck even if it's only a few feet she walks then puts them off again. These babies are happy in a way because they are close but they won't take it until she sits and grants permission. I would say it makes it much worse to be that close and be denied. Alot of times it isn't about milk. It's about the comfort and total protection and using her as a passifier. Rhesus babies do resist but you never see one act like a long tail. Big reason I love watching these more

The babies in this troop seem to learn their lesson after a thrashing or two. Other troop I've seen the babies are just gluttons for the punishment. They just keep jumping right back on. I mean this guy keeps crying and following her but at least he stops clinging to her back.
