I love this video as validation for my own reselling business. Our stories are almost exactly the same, when we started, how we started (except I was selling my teenage daughters clothes they outgrew), when I started to get serious as a reseller, buying printers, etc. Our numbers almost line up EXACTLY from 2022 to the present day which is crazy! I recently hit $100,000 in sales this year as well. Thank you for sharing all of this. Reselling can feel so discouraging at times, but this really helps me see that I'm doing ok. Hugs and best wishes on your continued journey. Kelly
Omg THANK YOU for sharing this with me! Your comment has given me validation as well. Congrats on hitting the $100k! That is too funny how similar our stories are, I love that so so much. Thanks for watching my video☺️
I’m listing more and have way more in my closet and eBay store but making a few hundred less a week than I was last year. I just think it’s the economy in general. My family was worked at a food bank once a month for 8 years and we used to help 5-10 families a night. Last month we saw 29 families in 2 hours.
@@emmahenderson2817 yeah that makes sense, it’s def probably a combo of things. Maybe even the Poshmark algorithm and the amount of sellers there are too? That’s wonderful that you help people out like that, sounds like there are more families in need these days unfortunately. Thanks for watching
Congratulations Taylor! This is a big accomplishment. You hit on my one (big) pet peeve with is packaging, and I have to say: I totally like your way: Easy, simple and never overpacking.with TONS of plastic. Just today I received a teeny-tiny jewelry item from Etsy. I couldn't believe the packaging. Just the outer: a paper wrapping, a plastic wrapping, a big box, another plastic wrapper around the box, tissue paper, a ribbon, a card, a letter, an envelope, a listing of the teeny-tiny item plus numbers (which I already noted when I bought it) more tissue paper...All for this teeny, teeny-tiniest little thing! I spent a good 35 mins dealing with all of this, sorting it out, folding and deciding what to put in recycling, and my husband had to help .. Unbelievable. Amazon does the same sometimes although lately, they have been sort of simplifying and doing more paper which I like. You are on your way girl!! Hope you and your family have a very happy Thanksgiving!
Omg I totally agree, the packaging is outta control sometimes! When I order things on Poshmark I see all the effort some people put into packaging and it doesn’t sway me to purchase from them again or make me give them a higher rating. I only care about the item I receive, not the extras. I hope you have a wonderful thanksgiving as well ☺️☺️
It just shares to their followers homepage, not the search feed. I feel buyers use the search feed on Poshmark to purchase items and they aren’t scrolling their homepage to buy items. Do what you feel is best, I guess I should have worded it more like “this is what works for me,” type of a way. Personally when I purchase from Poshmark, I don’t look twice on my homepage. It’s all random items there that aren’t my style/size. It would take so long for me to scroll through everything there to actually find something I want to buy.

Thank you!
If I share other's sellers listings, they usually share mine. They share them to their followers. My potential buyers range now is bigger, am I wrong?
