This is not the calendar feature you've been waiting for. Apart from the main integrated calendar view, it really needs a drag and drop feature for tasks without a date.
At least for now, the calendar views are only useful if you have a project-based workflow… but I still think it’s a cool feature and will continue to improve. Also I don’t have task in my calendar, I like to keep things separate.
Great idea. Hope they will implement a drag and drop, where you can drag from the no due date list and also move a task from one day to another. And a weekly view is a must since monthly view has only a 5 tasks place. Also would be nice to see start date per task with dotted lines till due date per each task that will have a start date. Therefore it will act more as a simple project planner. Where I will be able to plan my week better and know my capacity. Thanks Todoist team. Great progress towards being the best productivity app there
3:22 Yes 4:20 Google calendar "2 weeks" is awesome too. That view doesnt show events by hour like on "1week" but its more compact than " 1 month". I love it. That view should be added too.
Hmm. Great presentation. Not convinced, though I’m happy to see how this idea develops. I might want to see tasks in my calendar where I really need to pin down a date in order not to miss a deadline. Other tasks I simply do not want or need to add to my calendar as they’re in my task manager. There’s no need for the duplication or stress-inducing clutter of seeing them in a calendar. I wish Doist would get on with implementing the distinction between ‘when’ dates and hard deadlines as in Things 3.
It seems that with the new featureset they want to implement, todoist is becoming more and more like tomsplanner. If doist does this the right way that's a grait thing. I hope that in the month and week view there will also be bar a planner view. Then you can see all your projects at the same time, including the subtasks, and you can see which projects overlap.

Id love to have this view in filters. For those of us that dont use projects but rather label combinations, this release is excluded from us
It is starting to look like Things 3
no drag and drop?

Excellent content! Definitely not the calendar view that I was hoping for. Totally agree with your feedback.
No Drag and drop yet. Hope this comes stat

OMG, I'm so excited for this. I've been waiting for a way to see my appts in calendar form. Everything is in one place!
but still no way to have a start date separate from the due date?

You are now famous, Hugo! 😉
Sounds like you used the onboard mics? They’re great, unless you’re tapping or typing away 😨
Nah just got a noisy hotel desk. Can’t always be bothered to test this stuff when recording while on a trip.
akiflow perfect.
Please tell things that we need a calendar inside the app
