GOD i miss when this band was mysterious and DARK.... don't get me wrong, i'm happy for their success, but this era of the band was just magical. SO GLAD i got to see this phase of the band live!
Exactly. Ghost shows back in the day were down right creepy, and the Papas were scary lol. Now it’s all flashy like a KISS show. Don’t get me wrong, Ghost is still great.. but I’m afraid they’ve lost what made Ghost, Ghost. They don’t have the demonic Vatican theme anymore. And they don’t even play a lot of songs from the first two albums anymore :(
I saw them same year 2011 here in cleveland....diffrent and I knew is gonna catch on....way better than anything in the last 15/20 years...slow down slayer....dark lyrics with catchy 70s poppy rock vibe like ABBA and even beegees

I didnt remember playing it at all! Yeah it was pretty early but the hype was real. Ever since Live Evil 2010 everyone in the underground was talking about them. Seing the Stooges, Ghost, Voivod, Hawkins, Melvins and so many more at the same festival was rad.
@@VeilSideZ32 They played Prime Mover on their most recent tour. It was the last song I expected to hear on their set. They also played Con Clavi Con Dio and Ritual, which isn't that surprising, but they still make the rounds with their early stuff.
It would be awesome to have it as a Resurrection era, kind of similar to how they temporarily resurrect Papa Nihil for the Sax Solo in Miasma. I think we could all use some more Primo, Secondo, and Terzo...
I attended Rite Here Rite now movie yesterday... After watched film I need to go back at the beginning of this band. Just to heal a bad sense of hype for this massive mainstream moment the band lives on. Darker and heavy tracks from the epic debut is a must.
