RDR2 is still considered a graphical/narrative masterpiece, and that was made using PS4 hardware. GTA6 is almost certain to be as groundbreaking. Just because some executives are gone that were there for the productions of the earlier games doesn’t equate to R* being a “shell of their former self”. The developers working on the project are as dedicated as they ever have been.
For me it’s so annoying how much Gearbox milk Borderlands. They said they are working on a new Brothers In Arms in 2021 and we haven’t seen anything at all.
We would love to see a WWII Far Cry set in occupied France.... (Like Saboteur & Inglorious Basterds) Just imagine the chaos we can cause in French countryside and Paris😮 It will be such a breath of fresh air for the franchise😊
Infamous 1 and 2 need full blown remakes, I love those games, they're some of Sucker Punch Productions' best work, but it needs a remake with a more fleshed out world and maybe a better ending for 2 that could open the door for Cole to come back, Delsin was okay but I want another game with Cole.

Essentially, that group went and bought up a ton of game studios in hopes of attracting a Saudi Arabian investment, and when the deal fell through they closed many, MANY legacy studios and thus many of the IPs are gone as well.

For Bioshock 4, I'm expecting the Moon or space in some way. I mean, it's the meme, isn't it? Billionaires all leaving the mess they made of Earth behind, to live out in a luxurious space station/ship or a Mars or Moon colony. The latter in particular could introduce a low grav mechanic in areas where artificial gravity has failed (same for a space station or space ship having zero gravity locations). The story behind everything going to shit there could be that the apocalypse they all predicted to happen and were fleeing didn't, or it was billed as super luxurious for anyone that could afford a ticket, and the billionaires turned on each other as the richest started treating those who were mere millionaires as the new 'poors', and exploited them, not letting them return to Earth either. I could totally see an audio log collectible featuring a disillusioned trust fund person coming to realize that their situation was less rosy than promised and that maybe the 'poors' back on Earth maybe had a point about how they were treated, etc.
With Battlefield basically being dead, EA has the option to fall onto Titanfall 3 For a flagship FPS. and Apex Legends being such a wild success, people will be very familiar with the game world. It would probably finally get some deserved recognition. TF2 was hands down, my favorite FPS, and there is not a game that compares outside of the Bungie Halo titles (at the time of release) in my opinion. It's that level of quality.

Its genesis, its ideology, its inception and its goals are no good. The History of the Enclave is the proof there is no "good" Enclave, sir. They are the Nazi force of the Fallout timeline. The only way this faction could be good would be the character the player incarnates is taking on them and is given the ability to rule them for good purposes.
To have anything Half-Life related in 2025 would be nice. To have HL3 would be awesome. I would love if it could be played in both flat screen and VR. Alyx had that “reverse-Inception” feeling to it: you played for 10 minutes, and when you’d come out of VR, 2 hours had passed in the real world.
I WANT SPACE MARINE 3 FEATURING THE SISTERS OF BATTLE! Okay it’s a long shot but the Sisters of Battle are a sadly underused faction that has some interesting chemistry with the space marines. They also use a lot of similar weapons (bolsters and chain swords) so you’d really just have to adapt a similar combat system for smaller scale. Plus I kind of love the idea of a game featuring the iconic space marines and sisters of battle fighting together. And if they made the sisters playable at all you could have fun with scale. Imagine the interesting effect of battling a carnifex as a space marines and them switching to Titus’s Sister of Battle counterpart allowing you to see what it looks like to an average-sized human. And incorporating the size discrepancy could be great for multiplayer as well. Space Marines are easier targets but they can take more damage while Sisters of Battle are less durable but more agile and tougher to hit. Maybe They could work in something where both have different advantages like space marines can use big heavy equipment that does a lot of damage but Sisters of Battle can more precisely strike weak points so they’re devastatingly effective when put together.
I think it would be cool if they switch to a Green Arrow Series. They could do a lot with it now that the TV series has set a contemporary expectation.

There is one thing that I want above all else (that has about a 0.01% chance of happening). Give us a Middle Earth Open World game that touches on events of the books and has a massive scale.
I like how Creative Assembly goes off-piste every now and again. There's obviously Alien Isolation, but they also did Viking: Battle for Asgard. It wasn't a "must-play," but had some interesting ideas. I'm not into RTS, but the non-RTS games they've made are very different and interesting. Colour me intrigued as to what they're working on.
Not saying you gotta do what you don't want to do, but the total war games are totally playable more as a 4x. You can autoresolve battles on lower difficulties just fine. Granted their empire management mechanics aren't as deep as something like paradox or civ, the combat is where they shine esp in the warhammers with the diverse rosters.. Total war is still fun as a 4x game. And when you start playing if you do try the battles you will usually come to find the autoresolve is better than you for a while until you get the hang of it.
@imALazyPanda I have been meaning to expand the genres I play. A good friend of mine always raved about them, too. I think it's only fair that I give them a chance. Homeworld is another series I'm quite keen to try.
I really liked Titanfall 2, but if it’s between Respawn doing more Titanfall games or Jedi Survivor/Fallen Order games, I’m picking Jedi every time. Those games provide the closest thing I’ve ever felt to the first time. I watched the original Star Wars movies, they’re incredible. Respawn said they were doing a trilogy, maybe they’ll go back to Titanfall afterwards.
New 3D Mario, 3D Donkey Kong, Infamous, Resistance, a very soon date for Fable, Project Gotham Racing comeback, Banjo-Kazooie, new Bioshock, Killzone, a few new IP that are awesome, new Ratchet and Clank, Sly Cooper, a very soon date for Wolverine, NCAA basketball, a few dozen PSVR 2 games including Arkham Shadows and Half Life Alyx, Forza Horizon 6 with all live service stuff removed. Yes, I dream big. No, I don't have hope. I typed that before watching and I think some of mine are more realistic than the video now.
Fallout 5 needs to come tbh. A solid mixture of multi-player and single player would be great. Somewhat like GTAO. Where single player is its seperate thing but Online operates on the same map.

Please make bioshock creepy again. Loved the vibe of 1&2 so much. basically all i want out of the next one is for them to nail the atmosphere the creepy grimy ambiance.
Only thing I remember a sometime ago was Todd saying he believed that they showed that ES6 trailer way too earl. I just hope like you said that they take their time on that game!
I really want anything from Monolith with the Nemesis system. They were suppose to be making Wonder woman but we've heard nothing and they never said if it will use Nemesis

My announcement wish list is two games - Mass Effect 4 and Exodus.
I like how Creative Assembly goes off-piste every now and again. There's obviously Alien Isolation, but they also did Viking: Battle for Asgard. It wasn't a "must-play," but had some interesting ideas. I'm not into RTS, but the non-RTS games they've made are very different and interesting. Colour me intrigued as to what they're working on.
Not saying you gotta do what you don't want to do, but the total war games are totally playable more as a 4x. You can autoresolve battles on lower difficulties just fine. Granted their empire management mechanics aren't as deep as something like paradox or civ, the combat is where they shine esp in the warhammers with the diverse rosters.. Total war is still fun as a 4x game. And when you start playing if you do try the battles you will usually come to find the autoresolve is better than you for a while until you get the hang of it.
@imALazyPanda I have been meaning to expand the genres I play. A good friend of mine always raved about them, too. I think it's only fair that I give them a chance. Homeworld is another series I'm quite keen to try.
Titanfall 3, Half Life 3, New Vegas 2, Outer Worlds 2, Gears of War's pendulum wars might be cool, too

I really liked Titanfall 2, but if it’s between Respawn doing more Titanfall games or Jedi Survivor/Fallen Order games, I’m picking Jedi every time. Those games provide the closest thing I’ve ever felt to the first time. I watched the original Star Wars movies, they’re incredible. Respawn said they were doing a trilogy, maybe they’ll go back to Titanfall afterwards.
I don't give a single fk about any of these, except for the Titanfall, which is most likely not even coming at all.
New 3D Mario, 3D Donkey Kong, Infamous, Resistance, a very soon date for Fable, Project Gotham Racing comeback, Banjo-Kazooie, new Bioshock, Killzone, a few new IP that are awesome, new Ratchet and Clank, Sly Cooper, a very soon date for Wolverine, NCAA basketball, a few dozen PSVR 2 games including Arkham Shadows and Half Life Alyx, Forza Horizon 6 with all live service stuff removed. Yes, I dream big. No, I don't have hope.

After years and years of letting my hype die out, I can feel my Half Life 3 hype rising up again. Where there is smoke, there is usually a fire.
Fallout 5 needs to come tbh. A solid mixture of multi-player and single player would be great. Somewhat like GTAO. Where single player is its seperate thing but Online operates on the same map.
Nemesis system game please.....I'm looking at you Monolith! I don't care much for the Wonder Woman theme, but I'll buy a game with your system in it any time.
Mine would honestly be a Hail Mary of a new Banjo Kazooie game.
