Pamela Sue Martin made the character Fallon Carrington (Colby) phenomenal. She made Fallon a phenomenon the same way Joan Collins did Alexis. Too bad it took folks several years to realize that. Dynasty was never as good once she left.
These two were my favorite!
Blake, Krystle, and Alexis were the main characters of Dynasty. Still, when Fallon/PSM left, the show felt broke and never bounced back. She really was a critical character. Of course, it might also have been partly due to the mediocre writers that took over in S5.
I always thought of Fallon, Kystle and Alexis as the 3 main characters. It was best when it centered around those 3 imho.
I agree , Emma Same is OK , but she doesn't really fit the part of Fallon Carrington , like Pamela Sue Martin did , Pamela was perfect for the part

Earlier in the season Blake says to Fallon "I on't nee a carbon copy of your mother" - & Fallon was his favorite. Steven, however, was Alexis' favorite.

I have mixed feelings on Jeff. I don't like how he grabs her all the time and when he choked her. But DAMN, I actually feel really bad for him here. What Fallon did to him was evil. All he wanted was to love her, be married, have a baby together, and love their baby together as a family.
He ADORED her. He ALWAYS did. Even when married to others.

God! Pamela had one good season. She was so dull and haggard for the rest of her run. She wanted off the series and it shows in her somnambulistic performance.
Jeff was beautiful.
I liked Pamela sue Martin in the Poseidon Adventure and I liked her as Fallon

Thanks! Fallon (PSM) and Jeff - My favourite couple on Dynasty!! I found the chemistry unbelievably strong between the two actors and always wanted them to live happily together, only Fallon was never in love with Jeff, except for mid-end of Season 4...
They were great together, but you're right - she didn't realize how much she loved him until just before PSM left the show, which really sucked.
Their scenes after Peter De Vilbis abandoned Fallon and they got back together were like a dream come true for me at the time, when they were in love and preparing to get re-married. It's weird, but even at my young age (when Dynasty was first shown), as soon as Fallon's migraines started in Season 4, I immediately knew that something really bad would happen... :( And the cliffhanger of Season 4; what a tragic way to end this story between the two characters...
Yes, it was a very unsatisfying cliffhanger. I thought Jeff and the viewers deserved better than that.
Much better. I was so sad with how PSM left the series... And they kept us hoping she would return for the whole of Season 5...
Yeah, Fallon was too busy "loving" half of the American West to be in love with Jeff.

I was in high school when Dynasty was on TV. There was a HOT, HOT guy that looked JUST like Jeff at my school. He STILL looks good til this day.

Fallon was a great character, but she always seems like she's being inconvenienced and at odds with every character except Steven.
I love Pamela Sue Martin as an actress but the Fallon character was often unbelievably insensitive, disgusting, & pathetic, especially in this scene.

She never loved a wonderful man who adored her and was more than willing to save their marriage.... Ungratefulness is way high in some people...

It takes two to make the marriage work. Having a child in a failing relationship doesn't help.
If she didn't love him though, then the best that could be hoped for would be a mildly satisfying life

Great scene. But I wonder what Jeff threw very dramatically at the end? As far as I could make it the only thing he held during this scene was the TV remote. But that was in his left hand and whatever he hurled was in his right. Just wondering!

I remember this scene , Dynasty is a true part of everyone's life , I see a part of myself in Dynasty , Dynasty is not fiction , its real true to life , just because its a stage play does not mean its not truly going on in someone's life somewhere , I'm sure of it
Fallon was such a brat! She had studly Jeff all to herself and he worshiped her, yet she found him boring and predictable. She always liked the edgy, bad boys like Toscani and Peter DeVilbis. PSM and John James scenes were always electric! I liked when Jeff would finally stand up to her and dominate her, which always meant a roll in the sheets was on the way lol then the morning after came and Fallon would get bored again. Excellent chemistry

Fallon was a mega-slut in the early years. She all but goes down on a line of guys at Blake and Krystal's wedding, while Jeff watches. Probably turned the little nympho on. She probably would have screwed Adam even after finding out he was her brother. Then, even before PSM leaves the show, they tried to "soften" Fallon (just as they did with Trampy Jo a few years later) and make her out to be a decent gal. Things got worse when Fallon got a new face, new rack and an English accent. That version of Fallon was some goody-goody who conveniently forgot she banged half of Colorado in the late '70s. Jeff knew Fallon was a whore. I think part of him liked it.

cliff9685 - Yes, I preferred the sluttier, wild Fallon to that English bore (though I like Emma Samms, just not as Fallon). When she wasn’t boinking daddy’s chauffeur, she was racing to the abortion clinic or getting hot and heavy with a mysterious stranger that was eventually revealed to be her brother. Jeff should of had a kinkier side to him. They could have Fallon reject him in the sack, so he gets drunk and puts the moves on Carrington maid Jeanette, or Steven, either of which would have been delighted!
