Fallon was such a fun character, dynasty lost alot when pamela sue martin left.emma was ok,but she wasn't fallon, she made Fallon a totally different character that wasn't near as popular or entertaining.
Scenes like this make us remember Emma Samms was not and could not be Fallon:( What were they thinking when the cast Samms as the new Fallon. Maybe she could have played Amanda though Oxenberg was perfect. Her mommy's were worth a rating point or two alone.
It could have helped a little if the writers didn't completely change the personality of the character. PSM is the definitive Fallon, but had the personality of Fallon stayed the same, maybe Emma Samms could have been decent enough. They completely changed Fallon's personality once she moved to the Colbys.
@@canuck21 Yep. Unfortunately, even when Martin was still with the show, the writers started making Fallon more of a victim--and it's how she written was for pretty much all of Samms' tenure. Things happened *to* her rather than *because* of her.
@@phoenixnyc Indeed. At the end the series, Fallon got a bit of her edge back and I thought Emma Samms played it well. People can't blame all on Samms if the writers wrote Fallon as weak and scared. She had to play based on the script.
What a bore, this neverending balderdash. Emma Samms couldn't match Pamela Sue Martin as Fallon, not because of her boring character, Fallon's sassiness was diminished already in Pamela's tenure. It is because of her way of speech, voice, and especially the looks. Fallon had to change after all the hordes of studs and hunks and endless adulteries and all the scorns she received, and never succeeding in her attempts to outshine Krystle in her dad's eyes, nor with any man that attempted to beat Blake by taking his prize, Krystle. The delight of such people like Fallon was can't last forever, that is the lesson for you kiddies. They don't remain forever young and sassy, so to tame her a little was the only way.
Come come now Fallon. Now you're not the only daddy's little girl in Blake Carrington's life. Let's see here... There was Amanda and Crystal's baby daughter.

I much preferred it when they were at odds but appreciate how, unlike the central conflict between Krystle and Alexis, it would have been difficult to sustain this over pretty much a decade. Maybe it was the extremity and sudden nature of the transformation in their relationship that bugged me. Jeff was so cute!
Fallon only decides to have a baby after finding out Krystle is pregnant -- competition for daddy's attention! :P
She did that because of her inheritance.
@@sandradiaz3429 Why?
The baby would inherit after her and after Jeff.

Falon should have got a job instead of living off daddy's money.
A motel has everything. Hookers, junkies and criminals. We are a Carrington and a Colby we will be fine here. LOL!
Another classic Fallon moment-playful, kinky, sexy, sassy :)
Calculating......
I thought she was playing the tramp, and why hang around that locale at night with the explosion of crime during the Reagan era.
Breathlessly competing with Krystle for her daddy's affection.
Jeff was a beauty. Sighhhh...

She just left her convertible open at the parking. . I'm shocked. .
She cannot even remember Michael's surname, ha,ha,ha...
That night Little Blake was conceived, wasn't he?
Anyone notice you can see the entrance which usually leads up to the main staircase but now they’re showing a Living space area.
Gosh the actor looks like Armie Hammer 😳

Show SO much better when Fallon and Krystal were at odds ... I hated the move to them being friends, ugh ..
If Fallon was treating her like dirt in the whole 9 series it would had been exaggreated. Changes had to happen.
