Btw, if you played the entire game and not just one spot on the map, how big is it vs skate 3 map? One big city or like skate 3 were its multiple big cities? Was it big enough u feel like?

That looks damn near perfect. Finally a developer who doesn't OVER promise and actually delivers. Would love to see some city life added to the game later on, that's the only thing "missing" really.
In my opinion the game needs updated SFX to help with the immersion, we all want NPC and life which if Mash considers it that would be awesome, but I feel like the SFX are a tad outdated being copy pasted from PIPE, idk how to explain it other than it sounds "plastic". Also atmosphere sound too, like natural echo and nature sounds etc etc. Still hyped af for it but feel like the "emptiness" feeling is gonna be hard to not focus on.
yeah i do see that 100% but i feel like the devs have focused their time really well on what's most important and they have stated they aren't finished with the game even after release, that stuff can be added later on. im just super hyped to be able to hop in and shred soon.

the physics like @ 7:00 where you're grounded and high rates of speed is beautiful and even done poorly by triple A games the fact one man did this and got them physics that dialed is insane 🤟

It looks damn cool, but it's as if pedestrians, cars and other bmx riders would add more life to the city. And I would like to hear sounds from various surfaces, for example when you touch On an iron surface, I would like to hear characteristic sounds; Skate 3 had an excellent implementation of sound. I hope they implement some of this in the future)

Empty world with no NPC 🥱
I'm not a bmx rider, I used to skate for more than a decade, yet I am looking forward to this game. There are only two things that I think would improve the game, if I may add. Firstly, while grinding, if the character would struggle a little to keep balance, for that nice realism since the game is more likely a sim type of game. Secondly, it would be stationary and moving cars and pedestrians. Besides these, I wasn't really able to tell if it would need anything else. The game looks absolutely fantastic :) It was already in my wishlist for some time.

I think you overestimate how easy it will be to initiate a grind. It's not snap-to-rail sort of game like most THPS clones. Peg/wheel placement is everything and you earn your balance with good approach and aiming your grind properly, or you wreck much like BMX irl.
i keep coming back to this i cant wait to finally play! theres only one thing i hope that gets fixed sometimes your tire goes thru textures especially in your clips its visible when you jump out of the bowl and land on the edge! also really hope you can customize your character and that we have lots of clothes options
Can’t believe there is a Bmx game coming out like this- so technical and accurate in feeling if that’s the best way to put it. The combinations and variety of tricks look like loads of fun. I guess this is like pipe but more refined? I didn’t play pipe but watched enough vids to get the gist. We get that the map looks soulless, that’s been said. I for one don’t particularly care to ride a trike around in a Bmx game, so that can collect dust. I wish the tailwhips were more clean as in rather than kicking and the rider actually making a motion of running he didn’t split his legs so erratically, I feel like no rider tailwhips like that. The tabletops are over the top tweaked but heck I’ll be sending those when I air. The turndowns could be more clicked and aren’t usually done with bent legs. But yeah I’m keen to do some grinds and get technical and flowy with it. Can’t wait. Gonna have to buy a console or switch whatever that is to play.
Really hoping we get mods like skater xl such as camera mods (vx filters etc) object dropper to help liven up the city in clips. Game is looking great!

Super excited for this, thank you for posting. That ice hang to three was very special. Little thought: it would be great if there's a way to turn off lens distortion and vignetting in the replay editor as it was quite distracting in many clips and often kind of flickery.
I'm looking forward to dropping some big edits on this.
Physics look crazy good but the orange tinge of the map makes it look quite depressing. Don’t know why but I was expecting like a full story mode
I was thinking the exact same thing, I hope this is a filter applied to the replay. If the actual game looks like that, something is really off with the colour grading.

To be fair, Skate 1 had a similar colour grading and we got used to it.
In that game, colour would pop when you reached x3 score multiplier but would initially be toned down a lot.
Hopefully there will be cars and pedestrians and some ambiance of a city going on. I just sort of got back into gaming after not playing much since I was a kid, and I notice a lot of these indie developer games sort of just feel soulless and empty a lot of the time, like as if i just hit play directly from the Unreal Engine UI itself, i get that feeling almost everytime. I cant really explain it.

@@lion_bmx yeah i definitely agree with you guys here, it bothers me so much lol, and the barspin animation needs to be redone, bars go through the dudes leg, and he throws them before he even straightens out the legs.
Bars probably look different from behind the player. Bet if he had to rescale the bike would delay the game longer
I think he just needs to make the guys' torso shorter. The girl Nina in this game rides perfect tbh. Their backs are just too long or something haha

i dont get all the hate on this game on steam...it just came out and has time to improve! theres no point in refunding when its going to get better overtime, i have a friend whos just like this he wont buy a game until certain bug/glitches are fixed which i think is dumb because itll be gone in no time. i hope to save up some money to buy this soon and will spend many hours trying everything this game has to offer.

I have a good feeling this game will not do as well as expected due to little community that actually likes (sim like arcade I guess you can say) still looks a little unfinished, and dark and gloomy… I know it’s hard to make a game so I’m very impressed with one person making this but I wish they’re was a story like skate 3 or something
Very excited for this game I’ll be buying it day one lol but I hope there is a way to turn off the camera shake when you are going fast cause it made me quite dizzy just watching and I do think that the world could do with some more ambience cause it looks a little grey and empty but other than that it looks amazing
Although the game looks ok it looks like it would get boring fast. Wish they added cars and people and life to the maps and it was a whole game with missions and story line like the first skate where you start off a amateur and work to get sponsors and what not. Would be so much more fun. No

This looks rad af. My only issue kinda is sometimes when grinding the peg sounds sorta like nails on a chalkboard, n it’s physically revolting.
I love the drift trike too. My dream is one day they make a mod or patch or DLC that includes dj bikes and urban assault/freeride. I wanna relive the early 2000s, night jibbing, long manuals, stair gaps, hucks to flat, while riding my dream bike- an Evil Imperial with a SuperMonster and fat Hookworms. Or a Banshee Scream, Kona Stab, an old Norco VP Shore… oh, the memories
Only thing off is something about the arms and lack of npcs

I believe Mash will have done a great job with the mechanics. These aspects usually take a lot of time during development. If the game's foundation is solid, I hope to see many new mods that would complement the gameplay.

It's about time a bmx video game came along. There's so many sk8 board games that took off in development and left its brother element bmx abit behind. I'm just waiting for another attempt to make bmx flatland a video game.
I feel like all the male character are oversized compared to the bike, the girl looks way more realistic

@@daltongregory1721 Yeah same, but I think every pro rider have the irl size, and if you look When he play with Bruno Hoffman or Sean Ricany, it looks better than Devon Smillie or Corey Walsh because They are smaller
Does the game have 4:3 fisheye mode for replays? (Like in session skate sim)
Be careful when filming with chicken nuggets, sometimes the blue turns microwave and the banana becomes bacon vs crinkle back stains

Really looks dope! I'm just a bit let down on how empty and bare the world is. It makes it look...unfinished. I hope that Mash will add a traffic and ped option ion the future. The map also looks really big, but the scale of everything looks a bit unrealistic in terms of how huge the stairs and squares are. Could be wrong and could only be sections of the map, we'll see.
I need this now and I know the wait is gonna be so much longer for consoles:( guess I’m stuck to outlast trials for the time being😢

If they make an online mode with servers for people to play in real time, there are varying maneuvering sessions at various points on the map, it would be something incredible, I think it would be one of the most played games at the moment, there's something like that missing on the market, not to mention The game is impeccable, I'm Brazilian and I'm looking forward to the release. 🤘🤘🤘
His wrists staying in the same locked in position looks odd while performing all the different movements. Hope they work more on the rider animations overall, some of them just look kinda off.

The first ice pick to 270 bowl clip alone, has got me sold on the game 😱
They need to fix the characters pose. The entire first video your characters upper body never moved once. Also the speed is an issue I can see. I think a lot of these games miss core mechanics that make others great. Skate for instance did so well because it was a great mix of speed. Character animations and tricks felt smooth. To me this game looks very slow paced and I think it's going to loose a lot of the players who are looking for a BMX skate game till the new skate with those issues

dude ive been waiting years for the game to finally release lol i cant wait to play the full game finally im gonna make the bike look like the bike i built few years ago but havent gotten to ride much lol i built it in 2020 right before covid then covid happened then i moved to place too far from the park... so i barely get to go my bike still looks perfect.... lol
