Thank you for this great video! I just got my Wing and I personally really don't understand all the fuzz about how complicated this thing is. For me this is the Ableton Live of live consoles. Everything works how I in the first place think it should work. Really love it! Looking forward to your next video's!
Bravo! Excellent knowledge transfer. I have the Presonus 64S but also very interested in the Wing and it's capabilities. It is a blessing having someone like you to explain certain functions and features that are not even available in the manual. These 2 boards, when and if I get the Wing, will be FOH at 2 different locations. In another, video, someone mentioned faders moves too slow, apparently they have not seen your video. Great work man. God bless you.
Greetings from Russia! I look at the remote control as the control panel of the Shuttle! (or SpaceX Crew Dragon) :-) All the time only on analog consoles. (now on the Mackie CFX16 MKII) You only have to dream about this. Even though the Dell touch monitor is on the computer, it's more convenient to switch the lyrics, there's already some progress! :-) God's blessings!
Fader speed is how fast you want the physical faders to move. If you have them on Med or Slow, they will probably last longer than if you have them on fast.
I realized that after filming - I think it does reduce the fader noise/volume when flipping through pages, but I found for when mixing for my church I preferred "Fast" mode.
Hi thanks for video. Please show us how to sets up subwoofer to auxiliary to control the sub saveprate.. Thanks I'll sign up for the training but I can't access to the class...
My Wing is going to be delivered this Thursday from Sweetwater. I’m in the Denver area and I would appreciate it if I could get some help. I’m planning on purchasing the Mixing for Worship course.
Awesome, William - I think you'll love it. The full WING module of the course is online now - make sure you reach out through the Worship Ministry School website, that's the quickest way we can get you help (I'm not checking RUclips comments as often as our full team is checking in with students/support tickets)
Noticed he said that the usb on the back of the X32 was only data transfer, not a digital audio interface transfer, but in my experience it has always come with the interface card, but I could be wrong. The difference and improvement of the Wing is that it’s 48x48 over the 32x32 of the X32!
You're right that X32 always comes with USB Interface Card, but X32 itself also has USB-B connector itself which is only for data transfer indeed. Also, at early stage of X32 there was no X-USB card and it wasn't included in early days ;)
We are seriously struggling between the Wing and SQ6. At first we were going to keep it simple and do QU32. But idk lol so much good info on them all it’s like brain over load 🤯
@@danielacuna6826 q32. It was soooo easy to get going and sounds great! Online feed and in-house super clean with no EQ. Running a Allen health AB112 stage box. It was a breeze and plenty of room for us. If we were to ever upgrade which I currently don’t plan to I would go SQ. But honestly there is no need when you have the ability to daisy chain stage boxes. Our drums and piano mix their own sound on inexpensive small analog mixers and send it through the stage box to front of house. 1 fader for drums, one fader for piano. I really like it this way leaving less work for front of house and simple for volunteers. I’m beginning to be so bias to AH because the quality and ease of use.
Why can't I get and audio to my PC through USB? I installed the driver, my PC recognizes that it is plugged in, I routed the mains to USB 1/2 but still no audio.
Av also found the faders are 24 per page not 12. So in total there are 96 faders not 48. When you go to assign channels all pages of the main 12 faders go to 24 and not 12 as indicated by the numbers of the pages.
Thanks for making this video. Are mute scenes possible with the Wing? So could you have a setting for worship where the instruments and vocals are on with the pastor mics off and another setting with the band completely off and the pastor mics on, making it easy to quickly switch between sets instead of searching and muting channels one by one.
Looking into purchasing this mixing desk and it looks like it is absolutely fantastic for a customised configurable workflow. But I still for the life of me can not understand WHY behringer opted to NOT have 16 XLR INPUTS on the back of the actual unit. Like there is literal blank space right there on the back to provide them. Yes of course, "digital stagebox, and alot of input possibilities yada yada ya." But im in so many day to day scenarios where im working with 12 way radio racks or more beside me at ops. It literally could of been perfect if they just tailored it for this very regular day to day use case. Anyway, thanks for the video covering the essential basics of this desk config and layout. Very helpful.
I'm curious as to why you use busses instead of DCA's to group things. We need pretty much all of our busses for wedges or IEMs. Is there some benefit I don't know about for using a bus over a DCA for just grouping things like Drums or Vocals together? Thanks so much for the video!
I don’t know if this too late. The reason for using bus for group is because you can add compression, eq, etc on the group you cannot do that an a dca group . I hope it helps
I'm not sure you understand the "OS Access" functionality. You connected via direct USB cable with OS access, but then didnt use that OS access drive to load the FW (copy the new fw file direct to the Wing, remove old FW, "eject drive" and reboot). Using the USB stick is fine but you're very confused and so will confuse others. The popup when you wanted to shutdown told you to eject the OS access partition from the COMPUTER, but you removed the USB stick instead... You need to sort out whether you want to show the direct OS access option, or the USB stick option. You're going to confuse a LOT of people since you yourself seem confused about it. Check page two of the release notes if you need to understand it better... Happy to help as well here
Also - the paging left/right didnt seem like it was understood. Hold VIEW and then slide the bottom left corner selection to the right if you want to configure and add pages on any layer
I watched that section and see why that could be confusing. You're right, I could have avoided the flash drive and just done it with the direct OS access option, and that I misread that pop up message. Fortunately the method shown in the video does work for those who follow along and shouldn't harm anything, but that's definitely something I'll aim to be clearer about in future videos and coaching calls. Thanks for watching
Hi, I'm thinking of purchasing a Wing. But we have a analog snake. How can I get 26 input channels without having to buy a stage box, is there any possibilities?
You'd need additional I/O as the wing only has 8 xlr in on the console. You could use an S32 stage box. You might also consider an X32 as it has 32 xlr in on the console itself.
@@andrewsoans No. I mean that an x32 has 32 physical xlr's on the console whereas the Wing only has 8 and would require and S16 or S32 stagebox. The X32 rack could send its channels to the wing, but there would be no control of the x32 preamps on the wing.
Music is praise, not worship. Search in scripture. Never is music called worship. It is 100% of the time referred to as praise. Period. In scripture worship is always, 100% of the time, referred to as sacrifice, service or self abasing. I'm going to trust scripture and not a widely held false picture of what worship is. Misuse a term long enough and the true meaning disappears. This is and has happened to the term worship. :(

Thanks for sharing this helpful video my great friend!! 😊🥁🇵🇭

Love this video. Question: the sheet you have taped in the top right, is that for your P-16s? If so do you have a link for that sheet?
Thanks! I am literally sitting in front my new WING that just came last night and was a little overwhelming at first.

Can I save full song mixes, including fader automation and everything?? I'm getting this board for my studio and i'd like to mix OTB.
Can I transfer all of my settings from soundcraft si impact to behringer WING via usb or sd card so I dont have to reset everything manually

Can you ad timestamps in the bio?
How stable is dante on this desk?
Having 16 stereo buses, so theoretically does it mean 32 mono buses?
We need time chapters
