It's unbelievable that someone can get banned for this. You can't just punish your player base for doing something your game allows. If you want to prevent this behaviour, you have to change you game's laws. I'm actually outraged. This is disgusting.
RIOT simply wants to make money. And they make more by banning these guys and stopping the spreading of this behavior than by saying "Good thinking ! Now we will think on the changes needed and develop them and implement them and everybody will be happy!" Not worth.

Ivan Ivanovitch Intentional feed is meant for players who want to intentionally drag their team down and lose the game. This isn't the case here. They're 5 players working together with a strategy that resolves around dying. Like a 0/5 proxy Singed that is actively trying to take towers, objectives and help his team. He shouldn't get banned

If you feed intentionally in a proper way it you can actually win the game. For example as Singed I fed so hard that my score in the end was 0/18/0, but I still got most gold, got most objectives and dealt most damage. At least 5 deaths were executes though. The point is that you draw the opponents to you. When the opposing laner goes to you he loses the turret. When the jungler goes to you your team knows that he won't gank and thus can play very aggressive. When other laners go to you it's even better. Laughing and emote spamming is mandatory though ;).
And "true" Singed players don't level their emote up because the level 5 emote is louder.
Champions which work well against this strategy are either champs who are very mobile (you need to make them waste as much time as possible which is harder against mobile champs) and champs who are extremely strong early and can snowball. And Vayne.
With Singed it's easy to do, but it's also possible to do this with either other tanks or very mobile champions.
I agree, but please stop exaggerating it. I hate the word 'outraged' and 'disgusting', this isn't disgusting or outrageous.
There are rumors that one of these guys already got banned, can't 100% confirm it though. To me it shouldn't really be bannable, but fixed probably yeah.

And me personally, I can not see how people enjoy OFA. All people do is pick op af champs, or 1 tricks pick their champ that noone plays. Ive never had a fun game wiith it

Ornn can buy items while "out of combat" and forging takes 5 sec so it's basically capturing relics (the yellow thing, i don't usually play Acsension mode). Oh yeah, you can ban champs before go into the game so...

Think by the point of view of RIOT games. They want people to give them money by buying RP. So they want players to be happy with their game, not annoyed. So they make unfunny or irritating behaviors illegal. It's business bro, nothing to do with rules or what we consider to be good. By banning them, they did an exemple and are trying to stop this behavior from happening.

that quote is meaningful in many contexts. It is particularly relevant to the modern islamic jihadist movements. They are already using suicide bombers so they clearly dont care about dying and they want to be killed to both go to heaven as they believe they will be martyrs and their deaths will be used as propaganda to recruit more fighters into their cause. Its like a multi-headed hydra, the more you kill them the more they spawn. Thus they are winning by you killing them. The only way to beat them is to not kill them, show their people a better way of life and take their real weapons away from them which is not guns or bombs but support for their ideology.

Just Tales So, this is a new torture tactic? Is the CIA using this against enemies of the U.S.? I really don't think they'd use this. Your use of the word "torture" is extremely incorrect here. I've read a lot about what makes torture the way it is, and I seriously doubt that people coming up with a strategy to win without kills is torturing the enemy team. Sure, they're dicks for doing it, but they aren't torturing the people. Torture can have long lasting, traumatic effects on a person. This is something that both sides can look back at and chuckle a little bit before moving on with their lives and forgetting about it. So no, this is not at all torture. This is just one side having fun, and the other side being annoyed. Nothing more, nothing less.

Since everyone knows this strategy now, I think that Ascension mode will now be the most peaceful game mode where each team tries to give the other team Xereth and tries not to kill each other.

but you can hide and do it now.

But you can do it when it's early and do it for every single time you kill the enemy
well when u enter a game u don't expect enemies to ignore taking objectives and waste one hour to just make ur life worse XD u enter game expecting enemy team to play the game sooooo u won't back early even if u ace cuz it's a chance to get points....

So what I've learned from this story is I should be reporting the enemy team every time I lose a game because ruining the experience for the enemy team is bannable and I really don't like losing it ruins my experience

While outright banning them is harsh, they were definitely being dicks by doing this. It's simpler than 'ruining someone's experience': they were deliberately trying to make the game no fun for the enemy to the point where they quit. What kind of sadist plays a game with the premeditated intention of making the enemy feel as miserable as possible? Would *you* want to play a game where you feel like you can't do anything and the only choice is to give up? If they were just doing it for a joke they coulda played for maybe half an hour, just long enough to prove their point and then surrender - but they didn't, they played to win, right to the bitter end. How desperate for a win do you have to be to use cheese like this? What does that say about you as a person?
Sure, in a game there have to be winners and losers and the losers will probably feel sore about it, but the main goal should be to win through a display of skill, not to grind down your opponents to the point where they are so sick of being in the game that they would eat their own grandmother to get out. Games should be about providing a fair challenge for both sides: there's no challenge here for *either* side because one only has to die over and over and then stand next to the enemy and the other quite literally is not allowed to win. How is this fun? How is this fair? Is this the kind of strategy you tune into the LCS to see? Somehow I don't think so.
That being said Riot is also partly to blame for allowing such a strategy to be viable in the first place, which is why I say that outright banning the players is too harsh a penalty. In the other game modes you can't pull stuff like this because there are ways to suicide if the enemy does decide to troll you like this. Ultimately Riot should've foreseen that if such mechanics could be abused then somebody would find a way to abuse them because players are by their very nature experimental. So fix yer game, Riot.
Kaz If this happened to me I would have left the game and taken the ban, but I wouldn't report them. I personally think this is a clear case of "don't hate the player, hate the game", and even more so if they only did it 2 times. If I had found this technique, I would have spent days abusing it, to get different reactions from people. And if you get trolled like this, it's not like you won't be able to play league of legends never again, you just surrender and move on with your life. I think some players are over sensitive with this kind of stuff, and the fact that they got banned for doing this is completely astonishing to me.

Im super mad because when Ascension was created I had this idea because the fatal flaw is the entire idea that you cannot go back to base unless you die. I was never able to convince my couple of friends to do something like this because they thought it was stupid and no way for it to work. These guys improved the idea by using the cinder item and going full tank. My idea was just to never kill the enemy.

No. Tenacity is not additive, it's multiplied, meaning you can never get 100% tenacity, even if you had a million different sources adding to it.
you can have 100% tenacity only if you have infinite tenacity effects... just like any other scalling nin additive stuff....armor ...mr and so on

NECROMANCY
One time round 2014 when we came back to playing LoL for a LANparty after playing dota for couple of years, we won like ten-ish games in a row with super tanky revive teleport strat.
Lineup was sth like: Galio-mid
singed + sejuani top
Mundo + malphite bot.
The trick was, that every time we lost a teamfight we poped revives and turned the situation around by turning 1v3 encounter to a 5v3 encounter and getting a tower. It's a strategy where you re almost always ahead of your enemy since you have no little to no downtime in farming and threats. Late game was all about milling your oponents with damage over time and sole toughness. Similar builds are viable in dota where you play characters like wright knight and abuse his ultimate (reincarnates with full hp on spot with 1 minute cooldown) where you focus on damage over time and cooldown refreshes, unfortunately it requires a lot more farm and is more team composition focused then proposed LoL strat.
There is a counter to this strategy. I always play ryze and tp my friend back to base so he can buy items
And if the red team would have had Tahm, they wouldnt care

rito banned them cause they are fcking genius, yeah maybe its cancerous, but ..... its FCKING GENIUS! if somebody figured this out, he would get nobel for strategy, not banning. rito made this possible and they figured it out. so rito, lets ban them cause its our fail.... just let them be and remake the mode... iam rly proud of the blue team, i always Appreciate some new strategy, and i hate everybody, who says that you have to play how it was first played... i meet this quite often, now when i want to play kayn mid.., i palyed like 3 or 4 games, top and jng and then i just play him on mid, except when i try st else,....
iam rly angry and sad that they got banned cause they are smart.. now iam even scared to play st what isnt said on lol wiki or in spotlighs ....

Dark Sektusss yes, its not fun for enemy team, but 1) they could surr after 15 min, it was just their choice to play so long
2) in lol are many things that are not fun for enemies like fizz, yasuo,... Or when you play against fed enemy, its quite not fun if you just cant kill him, and he doesnt get banned too, if rito bans everybody who makes enemy tilt just eith their style of playing, there would be rly less players... In lol, everybody cant have fun all the time...

No they did not deserve the bans. If riot oversees something like this it is THEIR fault, not the players. They have to fix it and not the ones that do that what riot always says they want: team-play. Because that is what you can see there, a team, came up with a strategy, executed it in a real game via team-play.
And agreed, you can surrender early, it is a fun mode, some people had fun and a defeat doesn't hurt there.

Wugi Tf can ult to base but the enemy team could solve it by having a lot of cc. And champs with taunt cant kill themselves cause enemy team is building full tank and no dmg
