I would hate to see my SoD characters going to the grave, but I don’t think there’s a big enough player base to sustain permanent SoD era servers. I will hopefully play SoD until the end, but in the downtime I am starting to get back into retail while I wait for the next Classic+ experience. Love your content Kaghoe!
I do think you are on to something with there being too many WoWs. I think classic should keep going through xpacs, we should have classic plus, rolling classic through wotlk, and retail. As long as players are subbed and are playing anything I think we are good 👍
Maybe the solution keep all the servers for all the versions and every 6 months change which versions are active you get 6 months of tbc then the server is off for 6 when it comes back your char is just where you left it. Would be awful for guilds thou
The problem with SoD era is it would fall under the same issue we're running into now, too many versions of WoW. Imo they should either let SoD end and announce something to look forward in the future regarding it or something similar, or move forward with it with new content or into TBC. I would imagine they've heard the hype for Classic +, and must've been impressed with SoD's launch #'s, so it really seems like only a matter of time before we do get Classic +. The only questions is when and if we get anything different in between then.
@@josipmarasovic2436 Yeah these are my thoughts as well based on what's happened in SoD. I think they need to take some serious time to iron it out and make it actually Classic +. Otherwise I'm thinking we will just get like a SoD rehash if they push it out sooner.
Yeah honestly there aren’t many good solutions for SoD ending because of how different it all is. I’d like to think that in the 5 years the classic project has been out, that they’ve been working on a classic plus, and sod is the beta test for it all, however there is no way to know any of that

Hoping they do Classic + w/ a real PvP ranking system (such as RBGs / Arena) and more new raid content like the implemented in SoD

sod era imstead of tbc sod, keep it lvl 60 but add sum tbc content into vanilla sod era lvl60
