The old and new shindaiwa saws have always been top quality saws. The new ones also mean you have have two color choices when buying an echo. Both made by Yamabiko/Kioritz. Orange for echo, red for Shindaiwa. Exact same saws. Cheers
I only rum Shindaiwa now I love them keep them clean go for ever. I got a saw from customer not running, a Stihl 20 years old never been cleaned, the dust and oil..... Was like concrete you would cry when you say inside the oil tank, I'm surprised it ran so long. Bar oil is a mix of oil old paint from tank water and dust. Ow boy some people don't deserve to own nice machine's. Love the Chanel wish you near by, won't not have to repairs stuff myself and get frustrated often that were this Chanel help just some little thing you here and bloom that was it.
I have husky Stihl and shindiawa. The shindiawa is 20 years old and only ever had a fuel line replaced and still rips. Can't say if the 660 or 550xp will last or not but the shindiawa has proven itself
Just a suggestion, in the video description area put a link to your store. I bet you will get a lot more people check it out if you make it easy. Great video as always
Would I be right in thinking that this is where Bjorne Butler, tree feller, had his new Huskie "Walkerised"? He commented on how powerful it was. One month of his use would equal ten years of mine with my ancient but never-say-die little Stihl 020 that only ever costs consumables!
I'm Luke from rotorua new Zealand. I use to work in logging but I'm back to being a mechanic I have five chainsaws.shindaiwa is a great saw but mine is blown up at the moment I am going to fix it slowly.. Just thought I'd let u know thanks for the information.
We love those Shinnys. Pick them up for cheap in AB. Most parts still available from the echo dealer. Freshen them up for friends who need a saw. Resale sucks because people just don't know how great they are. Have gotten 360s 501and 577. Would like to get a 757. They're the Lexus of the small saw IMHO
Ive got good collection myself. 300,300s,360,377,488x2,580 and 685. I like very much 488. They are Wells build and tunable Saws. Most of these models share parts with echo 👍🏼
I have a big shindawa t350 for 16 years of hard use still runs strong starts 2 pull year after year I always thought it was because the crime cylinder or the barrel carb
I think the best wearing bar is tsumura except there tips blow to much and the odd one cracks I think they harden them to much but are most popular seller is Stihl light bars tips last for ever and they wear decent
I quess that didn’t really answer your question I say the tsumura is the best if you don’t mind it being heavier than Stihl but lighter than regular ones
Hey man I have run a chain saw for 25 years and I found a problem I can't figure out it a vent line on a 488 shindwa chainsaw I'm not getting gasoline to the carb rate please help me out I'm out of wood
Well you need to start in the fuel tank make sure your fuel line isn’t rotted or got a hole a fresh fuel filter then check over carb does it have good compression

Donny, Ryan here….what cranksplitter should I use on an 084?
I use the type from Stihl that bolts to the bar studs then push crank out then my homemade jig on arbor press
