Tips:
Destroying his equipments will let you do more damage to him
Full air + break(any break skill) - cape destroyed
Full down + break - greaves destroyed
Full stun + break - helmet destroyed
Also use break skill to stop him from repairing them

562K emeralds? haha i remember you were a free to play player together with me back then in the early launch of the game, im a lot far behind now, i had just returned to the game and still a f2p player and stuck at 11k powers mostly. i can see no easy way to get a higher power build for fast except by spending money (which i wont)
