    I've noticed that John does that a lot. He focuses so hard on getting hand control that when he's getting pressed, he doesn't slip, he just keeps trying to hold on as he's getting closer to the pad. He did the same thing vs Zurab.

      they are paid, its all a work. the promoters dont want an American to gain ground in their tournament, so they give them the hardest path of resistance, and warn the other euro pullers to give up against pushkar so he is fresh, in the slim chance that he faces an American in the finals

      I know it looks like a joke, but It is impossible for them to win so they saved their energy to get to a higher final rank. Krasi had two long grueling battles against Brzenk and Prudnik prior to meeting Pushkar.

      It is called humbleness in the presence of a much stronger opponent. They do it in order to be fresh for a more winnable match. Common practice in Armwrestling. Do not be foolish.

    • @alanmartinezrodriguez884

      It's a normal practice in Armwrestling. The weaker puller recognizes that he is facing an opponent that he will not be able to beat and throws away the match in order to be fresh for another more winnable match. The risk of being injured is also a factor in that desicion.

    • @minhhale
      @minhhale 3 года назад

      Yup, it's a very common strategy. If I'm pulling a guy that I know I'll lose anyway, I will just give the match to him. I'd rather conserve energy for later matches that I have a better chance of winning. And plus, if that strong guy has a nasty hit, it might be dangerous trying to catch it.
