Nice NES games list Gary. This is really helpful to help me and the others to see which games we have played and we never played. Great work bro ❤❤❤
Hey, great video. If you like this type of game in a 2D retro style, you'll probably like ' Medal winners 24' on Steam. It's similar to track and field but more modern.
among my favs not on this list are goonies 2, guardian legend, astynax, kabuki quantum fighter, ikari warriors, battle of olympus, skate or die, pro wrestling , tetris [ not the tengen ] and strider.
Styder was my fav too!!!!!! What the hell? That should have been top ten!!!!!!!!
I also rank these quite a bit higher on my personal list:
- Fire N Ice
- Vice: Project Doom
- Castlevania (60!?!?)
- DuckTales (59?!?!)
- Ninja Gaiden (57!!!!!)
- Gun NAC (55??????)
- Shatterhand (54?????????)
Little Nemo way higher, too.
where is circus charlie?
Their list is kinda dumb. Castlevania is no. 60 while the Battletoads is no. 37? Seriously?
nice
Guys , i am looking for a NES game i played in my childhood. It was a 2D side scrolling game where the main character would spit out a brick or multiple brick on pressing a button. The main character would walk on those that bricks too. At the end of each level , a puzzle piece would be given to the player. All the puzzle piece would create a painting of some sort. Guys , i have watched many many youtube videos for all NES games but am still unable to find that game. Can someone pls pls pls help me. PS : sorry for my bad english.
I know this response is coming a bit late (over a year, approximately) and if you haven't found it yet, I believe the game you're looking for is *Hinotori Hououhen: Gaou no Bouken* ...translates to "Phoenix -Firebird Volume: Gaou's Adventure", often referred to as Hinotori, or Gaou's Adventure.
The block mechanic and the "puzzle piece would create a painting" (which i think are fragments of a tapestry or sculpture of a Phoenix) gave it away, and is what makes me think the game you're looking for is Hinotori. Hope this helps!
@ broooooo , thank you sooo much 😍😍😍😍😍😍
I was looking for this game since ages man !!! You have no idea what this means to me. You just gave me the best gift of the year !!! God bless you bro 😘
Hello. Can I send you some cartridges by mail?
I have Smash TV way higher.
Weird list
TMNT
Mega Man 2 sucks
Retro's list is dumb anyway.
I mean come on. Lemmings' crappy NES port at 25th? Really?
And I can never take SMB3 being considered the best seriously.
It's way too fucking long for something with no passwords or saves.
The Warp Whistles don't excuse it because they are far more obtuse and out of the way than the Warp Zones in 1 and 2.
lol
Yeah, but you can tell Retro ACTUALLY played all the games because they have literal frickin Puzznic and frickin ELITE on the list which are games that not many people knows about. Also, wtf you saying, mega man 2 is awesome. Mega man 3 is better though *in my opinion* . Speaking of, this entire list is basically one actually decent opinion because they actually based the rankings on Retro's opinions, not others like stupid IGN
@@clemont-ib6pl Yeah the game with Quick Man, Boobeam Trap, Wily Alien, and the most unbalanced weapon arsenal, one that's unnecessarily overpowered along with five completely useless ones, is _truly_ amazing
@tb3411 well the thing is, everything else about the game is perfect
@@clemont-ib6pl I dunno... the level design is pretty boring for the most part. Most of the levels just feel like hallways with enemies in it.
Even though Metal Man has conveyor belts, they aren't really threatening in any way.
Quick Man's stage is one of the more interesting stages, yet most of it is just the annoying force beams.
Heat Man's despite also being another one of the more interesting ones, it's again because of annoying level design.
Honestly, Bubble Man has the only stage I can say is any good. Everything else is either bland, mediocre, or badly designed
Mario Bros. at 30?? LMAO. GTFO.
Should be top 5.
@@appleforever6664 For real.
It's overrated
Idk wtf ur smoking but smb1 isn't even that good. The physics are janky at best and while it was revolutionary for its time, there are definitely more than 30 NES titles that are better than SMB1.
We need to talk about more games like shadowgate
