CAT D6T LGP bulldozer (excavation retention basin | Eisberg | St. Pölten)

The excavated material from the new Eisberg retention basin in St. Pölten is temporarily stored on site. A bulldozer makes the area required free and pushes the topsoil aside.
Much will be changed in the course of the city expansion on the Eisberg. In addition to new settlement areas, the expansion of the city forest creates a new local recreation area. And in order to be prepared for heavy rain events, a large retention basin is created. In this video we watch a CAT D6T LGP bulldozer clearing the storage area for the excavated material. Meanwhile, in the background, a Volvo A30G and a Liebherr 936 are busy with the excavated material.

That looks like so much fun. I personally have graded out many million of yards of dirt at Fresh Kills Landfill. I used both D9R and D6R LGP machines. As for the D6, I have 3 words for you. "Six way blade". Once you get used to it, you will never go back. They increase the productivity of your machine exponentially.
