Fun fact: Sonia's English VA Wendy Lee voices Blanc/White Heart in HyperDimension Neptunia and the anime HyperDimension Neptunia the Animation. Sonia's Vocal tone is very similar to Blanc's too
Luna in the dub is also voiced by Melissa Fahn, who voiced Neptune. Not the first time the two have been in the same project either. Wendee Lee and Melissa Fahn were also Faye and Edward in Cowboy Bebop, respectively, as well as Sakura and Orihime in Sakura Wars: The Movie.
On the ticket at 9:14, something else they neglected to change was the name of the town itself. Kodama Town is the name of Geo’s hometown in Mega Man Star Force in Japan, but in the US, it’s Echo Ridge. (And it was mentioned by name in the dub too, but I don’t think they made the connection.) And on a separate note, this is an incredibly minor script change, but I felt it was worth mentioning. In Episode 7 of the original anime, and the first half of Episode 4 of the dub, there’s a scene where Aaron tries to stop the satellite from crashing into AMAKEN, but is unable to. At one point, he says, “Only 6 more minutes” in the sub, in reference to how long they had until the satellite crashed. Here’s the weird thing, though. In the dub, he instead says “Just 4 minutes”. It’s such an odd change, considering both numbers are one syllable in length, so it’s not like they would’ve been trying to save on lip-flaps. It’s technically more accurate to the episode’s run time, since the conflict is resolved much sooner than 6 minutes, so maybe that’s why they changed it. Though, if that was the case, saying “3 minutes” instead would’ve been more accurate, and still fit within one syllable. It was just an incredibly minute thing I noticed.
This was a better English Dub than NT Warrior. Little to no censorship, japanese sound effects, and script were mostly intact. They even fixed an inconsistency from the games, like when Sonia EM Wave Changes with Lyra, she become "Harp Note", while the English dub of this anime, she becomes "Lyra Note."
@kolkagaming1234 I believe NT Warrior was TV-Y7 on Kids WB, while Star Force was TV-PG on Toonami Jetstream. (And CN as a 2 hour movie) So I'm guessing that's why Star Force could get away with little to no censorship. Also wanted to add that NT Warrior was on Saturday mornings, and depending on the network, they could only allow certain things to air.
Em wave change! Geo stellar on the Air ! Loved MegaMan StarForce was aired on Toonami Jetstream back in the day before the new streaming services we have today . Yes cancelled shortly after Toonami"s end in 2008 and anything else on the platform scheduled for but that's life
Hey Hensama. I love your videos. You really go in-depth and it pleases me a lot. I’ve been wondering when you’re gonna cover the Android/Cell Saga of Dragon Ball Z Kai.

No Censorship Yay!
Hey Wait so Viz Media didn’t Censor Mega Man Star Force & Sailor Moon but not NT Warrior?

I think I remember this series on Hulu, man this was a long time ago

In the Harp Note concert scene, they also looped an animation to fit the song lip sync. So it loses a bit of original animation.
I only remember the two hour special on Toonami. I wasn't able to watched the rest, due to slow internet at time.
It doesnt seem like a bad dub actually
I think this is a rare case where the dub is better then the Japanese version. At leas the dub fix the pacing issues.
