Yep. Those were the two biggest challenges with this cover. I figured someone like Billie Joe Armstrong would be mediocre at best at guitar, but trying to play his stuff is quite challenging in those two regards. In the future, I may try this cover again and attempt to better replicate the strumming and timing, but for now, I am mostly happy with the cover. Thank you for the comment.
Keep working on that timing. But your palm muted and open strum tone sounds really good, so your hand technique and amp settings is well done

Good job just a bit off on timing and strumming is off you need to research the way the original guitarist strums and copy that
