- Hey! It's Charlotte! I'm an incoming freshman to Vanderbilt University where I'll be doing Army ROTC on a 4-year scholarship which covers tuition and fees. In this video I read through 3 of my essays that were a part of the Army application. I hope you all enjoy :)
I'm planning to post MORE helpful videos about the Army ROTC scholarship application process. So be sure to subscribe to get reminded when I do!
What is ROTC?
The goal of ROTC is to train college students for future service in branches of the U.S. military. The Army, Air Force, and Navy each have their own ROTC programs.

Very helpful thank you.
This is very impressive, I for sure have alot to work on as an incoming Junior. I want to do more, but i don't know what. Do you have any reccomendations?
I have some questions!
1) Did you apply for the first board scholarship decision? The October one?
2) If you didn’t apply for the first board, were you able to alert Vanderbilt that you were going/got the ROTC Army scholarship? And do you think it helped you get into Vanderbilt?
Hi! 1) I applied the second board
2) I was in contact with the Army ROTC at Vanderbilt and they notified the admissions board about my scholarship. It for sure helped me get in! The Vanderbilt Army ROTC sent a list of all the scholarship winners and a good amount of us got in.
@@user-fm9no5pn2whey! I have a video already posted where I share these stats!
Hi charlotte, How about this topic: "Service" please
For the second essay, did you base your schedule on your junior or senior year?
I based it off of my senior year because my junior year was super weird due to COVID and being virtual.
How much you get in army scholarship
Either a 3 or 4 year scholarship that covers 100% tuition and fees. Also a $420 monthly stipend and $600 in book money each semester.
can you help me with mine🥹
