It is not that the MiG-29G suffers but the fact that they don’t have a top tier jet. The game is ready for the EF 2000 (Tranche 1) since fox 3 were introduced! The Tranche 1 only had Aim120 and Aim9 so the outstanding feature of the EF 2000 would be its maneuverability as it is in reallife. By saying its performance is too good you would take away its entire point of existence….And the Tranche 1 did not had good cas capabilitys because Tranche 1 was designed as a fighter and not as a multi-role aircraft.
If tranche 1 had the integrated ECM like the earlier series then it's pretty hard to implement because ECM is not implemented in the game. The whole biggie about the EF is the electronics and avionics and good maneuvrebility, the missiles developed after 1990's are/would be pretty much the same in game

Su27sm is from 2002 , f15c msip 2 is from 2005 , j10 is from 2005 , Eurofighter is from 2003 for GB and 2005 for ger and it It can carry 8 aim120 or 4 aim9 in total 10 missiles maximum, the radar is like that of the Gripen, around 340 bol countermeasures, in flight performance It will be like a gripen with more thrust similar to j10 but better at high altitude gaijin just makes a lot of excuses and a lot of hypocrisy just like the main players from other nations At this point the only thing the Eurofighter would be the best in in the top tier is its engine And even though the other nations do not need more airplanes (USA) with the exception of France and Sweden, it will surely not come alone and the others will have something better for no reason.
I don't completely agree (even if i want the ef2000 bad). The radar is as far as i know not the same as in the Grippen and it has the potential to Carry more than 10 missiles. But not counting all of that: the thing is the ef2000 would be pretty much one of the best/ the best plane in every relevant metric even if some planes have similiar capabilities in some regards the ef2000 would at least be the top contender for: manouverability, weapon, count, engine performance, radar, countermeasures, high Altitude performance. The only thing the Tranche 1 planes did not have that would make them worse was an hmcs(from Tranche 2 onwards they got it though together with the infrarred Pirate system)

I don't see it as something useful. Su27 has something similar and no one uses it. For countermeasures I'm just saying the gripen has 700 Really the only aspect in which it would be the best of all airplanes is its engine.

The thing is, I LOVE the Mig-29G. The R-27ER1's are ungodly good, but the fact you only get two sucks. And the 73s are really good but you get slammed with a fox-3 before you can even use them
In this thing you kind of have the mindset to not be overly aggressive and wait till dogfight happens. Well, you can do the R27ER sniping thing but I would never recommend it, because uptier=Amraams, downtier=Fakour. So not your field of strength to go up into heights. And you have 4xR73s which you have to survive to the frontline without being shot down in order to use them, and you only have 60 countermeasures which is not something you can fxxk around with the fox3s at heights again. I would say it is definitely pretty strong, at 13.0, because if you get down to 12.0, you are basically seal clubbing F4s and Mirages, both with R27ER and R73, in an uptier it feels like a Su27 or J11, but less countermeasures, less missiles, and more maneuverability, so if it's an uptier you have to bring the backup fuel tank and hold your WEP. This thing has pretty good high velocity maneuverability, definitely deadly in the right hands. Bur bro if you sniping with this thing, you are either subpar to the true BVR kings, or wasting all your countermeasures before even in range for your R73s to do stuffs.

Yes and no, play It its Fun, the air tree is kind bad but damn, Lim-5p,Cl-13mk6, Hunter, mig-21, Ar-234(7.3) its kind Fun :3 And the ground tree is Just good, there's problems (like the lack of AA to 6.0-8.3 no, the kubel and wiesel are not AAs)
Mig29g is just a 9.12a with new paint and some cockpit modifications. It couldn't use aim120. Once they were sold to the polish, they almost integrated them with aim9x, but never with aim120.

So you see what i am talking about mig-29g ( so called best top tier jet in germany’s tech tree, all i can say was the best ) can barely compete with other nations in the highest tier ( that means up tier, down tier its super easy) just because the devs refuse to give it fox3 ( which they say because it never had them ) but i say atleast for balancing reasons but the answer is still no and now as far as i saw nobody is even playing the highest tier in germany so you can understand how the amount of suffering that people try to avoid because enemy jets has more than 2 fox 3, alot of flares and lets not talk about the amount of missiles that they can carry also fast turning jets. Germany was the only nation that didn't recieve a jet in the air superiority update which didn't matter to much bc it had the better shit FM than SMT but it was fine against other planes that had better everything(blue) or same missiles(red). but the seek & destroy rly made Germany a shit nation. Germany's last META plane was given more than a year ago in the sons of atilla update, every other nation for in AS and S&D German mains' complaints are very fair atm. my best option would be is f18 or eurofighter and artaficially nerf it like the Su-27 and MiG-29 and unnerf it onces other nations get gen4,5/+/(++) jets, still waiting for the Red jets to be unnerfed bc it doesn't carry the META missiles anymore, even the R-77-1 is worse in range than the aim120a.
The R-27ER1 has better ranges and speeds and data link, if your smart enough you can still compete against the fox three missiles, the problem comes with the lack of countermeasures, so using your chaff wisely is a hard thing to do in BVR combat. The R27er was made to go up against early American aim120s, before Russia had their R77s. And there was an opposition to make a active radar seeker of the R 27-ER which would of been the FOX 3 variant of the missile going by the name of the R-27EA.
Its not that the Mig29G is bad . I think it is prety good but hell take a Look at the orher Nations trees. They have so good planes and so many nations got f16 and jas39 all with Fox 3. Germany only has the F4 ICE . Its cool but think about it in a fight with an f15 or f16 , grippen etc. Look at france the have awesome m2000 and stuff. Also f16. Uk even has got the grippen C bevor Swe. They have the best mig21 as well. Italy is like hey we have them all . F16 mig grippen.

I have the MiG-29G and it’s good. The only problem with it for me is the lack of countermeasures.

They're getting the F-18C. x10 AMRAAM, a very good radar plus all the CAS goodies. They'll be extremely competitive very soon.
