Its great to see that not every song that features a drummer has to have a drum solo and can play the pocket without getting in the way ..... I love the song.
Exactly. I watch a lot of RUclips drummers and although many are very talented, talent is everything. You have to understand the music and be tasteful in your playing. There is such a thing as too much and this goes for any instrument. Part of showing your talent is showing your ability to feel the music and also fit in with other musicians.
Every time I watch Chris play, I wanna give him a big ol hug for being so good and hecka dope

Multi-Talented, Drums, and Bass, I watched this set, and amazed!!!
A great song
While I love C2, I am really impressed with his pocket presence in this video. There are many times I watch these and see these outrageous fills and patterns that leave me speechless, but this was a breath of fresh air to show his pocket presence. Picks the right cymbals and drums tones for the songs he plays. Its quite a marvel at how good he can set a pocket.
I think I've heard that bass riff in a Vic Firth video where Chris was drumming along with himself playing bass.
