When I was 10 I worked all summer on my Dad's farm to buy a pony. I was inspired by this film. The price was low and I ended up with two, Strawberry and Misty.

I need one of Margaret Henry's beautiful stories to cope right now with all this garbage that's going on with the world she was such a beautiful author and Wesley Dennis's illustrations were the best

Dog of Flanders is one of the all-time best movies ever made. Every time you watch it there is a new lesson to see that they put into it. I love shows that teach lessons and teach how to treat others and live with others all at the same time I do miss these old-time great flicks.🎥🎞️🎬🎟️📹📽️🎭

I've just seen the first couple of minutes and I think I recognise this. Is it from the book Misty of Chincoteague by Marguerite Henry? I remember getting that from the library about 45 years ago! Actually I think there was a whole series.
Edit: Oops just watched a bit more and it does say that on the opening credits. Oh well, shows it made an impression on me anyway if I remembered it after all this time!
