Dan ... so awesome !!! You have no idea how Happy and excited I am for you, your family and Josh !!! Following you for the last 4+ years has been an inspiring journey !!! Thank you for sharing the knowledge and providing great entertainment !!! Cheers !!!
Apex lime quick detailer is great with no streaks. Can’t wait to try some of their other stuff. Great setup with the wash bay and look forward to seeing more videos with it. The GT40 created quite the drying challenge. Great success!
Another awesome video! I was unaware that Apex products are made in Boerne. I was in Boerne today and they will now be my go-to auto care products. Local is best!
Hi there Dan. Great job on cleaning the car. But to solve the wash solution... you can do a waterless cleaning on your car so you won't have all the water leaks. There's always a better way than soaking your interior. I do it on my cars.Just a sujustion.
One suggestion… Change out your Sprayer Wand for a Short Pistol Style + swivel hose connector. This will make it easier to use when washing and make’s using the foam cannon 10X easier. IMHO a must have upgrade for anyone who has a dedicated pressure washer for cars.
So you sold your 550 and 599 and 458? It's hard to keep track. Also, it was sad not to see Adam at your open house. I hope there isn't any bad feelings there.
You should look into a NGS or Stubb branded car care products. I would have told Josh to wash the car as punishment for cracking a Ferrari windshield. I guess if you don't want a GT 40 broken windshield, you have to do it yourself. Damn kids these days break everything😁
Shop is looking great! You cannot put a gasket on the plexiglass. When you tighten down the screws it will spider crack you glass panels. I have run a REALLY fine bead of caulk with some success, but it’s hard to get it straight so it looks nice. Like you said ”race car stuff!” Love the GT40!
Why not just use the waterless product on this? Seems like the perfect application, it isn’t that dirty, and your endless complaints on how much it sucks to wash and all of the “leaks” because it’s a “race car”

Good stuff
MORE GT40 VIDEOS PLEASE!!!!! THIS WAS FREEKING AWESOME!!!
Ok
I still miss the giant Aquarium and the wine videos with the wig! Lol❤❤❤
Eh times have changed
@@normalguysupercar lol
If it was me I would just spot wash it and not get it totally wet. Glad to hear about the Texas Made car detailing company!
Yeah that's another solution
@@normalguysupercar my foxbody convertible leaks the same ha ha
Beautiful car. That’s the bucket list car for me
For sure
Another awesome video! I was unaware that Apex products are made in Boerne. I was in Boerne today and they will now be my go-to auto care products. Local is best!
Heck yeah
That looks like good stuff. I might give it a try.
The car looks awesome. Must be a blast to drive.
Great informative video.
Thank you

I do that only when it's very lightly soiled

Good call
Great video! The detailing products are amazing
They are!
You can get sticky backed thin neoprene on rolls to make seals. That may work
That may be good
Glad You found a special car You like!
Very Nice and truth be known probably better built than the originals. And You have Air Conditioning!
God bless air conditioning lol
Nice set up! It seems like the best solution for cleaning the GT40 would be a waterless wash.
Perhaps
Will you give us an update on adam? So that the fans dont start gossiping?
Yeah he's no longer with the company. He will never be discussed on the channel again. Please stop asking.
The car is ridiculous low. My favorite race car from my childhood
Yes it is
It rivals the Aston-Martin F1 car current at the Howard (almost).
Haha
I'd love to see a "Meg's apathetic review" on that 😂
Soon
Dan, with no seals on the windows, do you get wind noise/whistling around them?
Nope
So you sold your 550 and 599 and 458? It's hard to keep track. Also, it was sad not to see Adam at your open house. I hope there isn't any bad feelings there.
Adam is no longer with the company, hasn't been for a long time

Haha indeed

Yeah they do have a little gasket on the heights. I'm curious how they manage they one
Hi Dan, I was wondering, is there a video for the grand opening?
No, the last video has a "trailer" at the end from a videographer at the opening
Gabe has some nice footage from the opening on his channel
@@cyberguypr what's his channel?
I noticed Joe rogan talking about the retro gt40 today…. Maybe a sale there? 😉
Hmmm maybe
On the GT40 use the orange bottle, "Waterless Wash". You'll be done in half the time.
True
There is zero chance I could get in and out of that car with my back and leg issues. Wow.
Yeah it's not friendly to anyone getting in or out. You even have to be a certain height. Lol
I wonder what race teams at LeMans did to keep out water during the race.
Now you can use duct tape!
Haha painters tape more likely
Need to do a waterless wash.
Keeps water out of car.
Yeah
I think drainage under the car would have been a better idea instead of squeegeeing it every time you wash a car lol
Well the slab was already there when we bought the building so that's not an option
Another option is a car wash mat@@normalguysupercar
What will you do if you get caught in a rain storm?
Not drive the car in a rain storm?
Why not just use the waterless product on this?
Seems like the perfect application, it isn’t that dirty, and your endless complaints on how much it sucks to wash and all of the “leaks” because it’s a “race car”
Exactly. I use waterless cleaning spray on my e type Jaguar all the time. Works great
Waterless stuff can still cause swirl marks
@@normalguysupercar But very clean swirl marks
I guess this car has no ac
Actually it does have ac!
You should have your fans come up with a better name than The Stub. Not a name you would associate with a high end customer group.
I'm happy with the name
A lot of work to wash a car, why not just a carport a s do it outside.
When it's 105 out the carport will still suck
