I definitely have a soft spot towards blue! I really don't think there is a bad FJ colour. Toyota did a top job with the selection available. Thanks for watching.
Mine is Black or as is now known Pinstripe Black. I do like the Cement. I did not know about the rubber pad under the keys....cool. The white roof keeps the car so much cooler, nice design feature.
I love the white roof too! Pinstripe Black, that's sums it up perfectly no doubt! They are meant to be used! I discovered the rubber pad one day when I was putting the floor mats back in one day. Thanks for watching. Cheers
I have the black one and im super surprised how well the white roof works when it's hot! I used to have a darker colored subaru before, you could not sit in it after a day fishing for a few mins, felt like everything almost melted due to it almost being a furnace! The fj is just a bit hot but not unbearable! Hands down my favourite feature second favourite thing is the startup fan roaring! Never gets old
Greetings from California USA! Original owner here of an 07 FJC. I wanted an all white FJ, but unfortunately, that was not an option back then. Settled for silver. Mine did not come equipped with a passenger side arm rest. I purchased it from the dealer and installed it myself. Also, mine does not have that rubber pad under the ignition. One interesting thing I noticed is that on your right-hand drive FJ, the rear door swings out in the same direction as my left-hand drive one. I would have thought that the hinge would have been on the opposite side based on the driving placement.
Thanks for watching! The rear door I'm guessing never changed because of the engineering needed. It's interesting about the rubber pad in the 07 not being there. I wonder when that was included? I like the white FJs too. How many.y miles have you covered? Cheers
I've always liked the FJ. Another great video mate. Saw you at my local Bunnings with your daughter on Sunday. I wanted to say hi but my kids were too embarrassed by their dad knowing someone from RUclips! 🤣😂
Nice one Rich! I gotta say I’m a sucker for the Blue! Those features are cool as, it’s little things like the rubber key pad that make a big difference!
What about the drivers window sunvisor? I thought that was a great innovation. Saved have to keep swinging the windscreen sunvisor around. My FJ was the same colour & would be my fav. 👍
I have a Cement.. definitely my favourite colour.. I bought mine second hand, and it came 'blacked out' including the roof which looks extra cool I think. When I was 'shopping' for my FJ, I went into a dealer and opened the rear window.. should have seen the dirt/leaves etc in there.. Told him his detailers needed a new job. :D
I did the same, the lady I bought it off had it detailed, I popped tbe back window open and a few gum leaves and dort was there. She was definitely surprised when it went " click" and it opened. Cement with a black roof! That's cool! Thanks for watching Cheers Richard
Yep I have an Army Green FJ and I am so leaning on making that white roof black. And Cement is a beautiful and handsome color. I can visualize your cement and black and I can tell its awesome.
I went to pick up a lawnmower I bought off of craigslist and couldn't collapse the handle. So I opened up the back window to my FJ and let the handle stick out so I could get it home. My favorite feature on my FJ is the 3 Homelink buttons for opening my home garage door and my father in laws gate and my sister in-laws community gate. At a golf course that I play regularly at there have been break-ins where the thieves were stealing the garage door remotes and the car owners registrations. We FJ owners have nothing to fear for our remotes are integrated into our mirrors and there are 3 of them. And I was perplexed when I first got my 2014 FJ becuz when your lights are set on DLR Daylight Running Lights the radio light is bright but when you turn on the night lights the radio brightness is low. So this is only a problem if you turn the lights on during the day because it dims the radio light and makes it harder to read your songs or stations. And I don't have a favorite color. My FJ is Army Green. I just love all the colors. Your Blue FJ is very nice, then there's the orange and yellow, My Army Green FJ can appear to be black in some lightings. And I often get cool comments when I'm out at garage sales or just putting in gas. When I first got my FJ June 2014 the entire neighborhood came by to check it out and raved about the color. And no I don't normally off-road because this is my "Trophy Vehicle" Update 2023: 59,600 miles after 9 years. I have not changed a single bulb or had any problems. Oil change every 5k miles and my FJ visits the Auto Salon every 2 years. Same battery same everything. I had an aftermarket running board put on almost as soon as I got it and that' the only thing that's rusting and I'll be changing my first set of tires in 2023. Yes my FJ is garaged. But so is the 2021 4Runner.

I've never seen the rubber piece under the key hole. Could that be something the previous owner added? Either way, pretty cool idea. I also love the fact that the switch blanks are available for add-ons. However I do feel that it could be easier to access the back of that panel for the switches. Doing so requires taking apart the center console between the front seats, which is always a pain. Great video!
Haha. The previous owner didn’t know the rear door opens. That’s bittersweet news. I wish he knew. Keep up the great videos. I enjoy your reviews and I don’t even own an FJ. I can’t believe you don’t have more subscribers than you actually have. The only thing that bugged me watching your video was the very loud music inbetween the top 6 things. Not sure if others have noticed but I had to mute each time. Other than the music A1 production and interesting topic mate
Thanks for watching Jase I appreciate your comments. The FJ definitely has many cool features and there is a few more that didn't make the list. Sorry about the music it is a fine line but I'll definitely listen closer to tne levels I use. From memory I had is at around 70% volume. Maybe 50% would have been more user friendly. I do enjoy tne editing process and appreciate the feedback. Thanks for subscribing too! Cheers Rich
I am a fan of the Fj cruiser since it came to Saudi Arabia. But I was not able to own while working in Saudi Arabia instead I bought the Sequoia brand new in 2009 and later sold it in 2015. When I returned in the Philippines I bought a 2016 model in 2021. Since then I was happy owning it the color was smokey blue.
It is great to hear that you were finally to get your hands on a FJ! 2016 is the last year the FJ was available in Australia. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.
Greetings from Canada, your FJ looks like it just came from a dealer showroom floor. We bought our FJ brand new in 2013 and it's seen it all in that decade. Ours is black so everyone can see the battle scars all over it along with the dents. When you hang out with Jeeps you're bound to put a few dents and scratches in, especially since our trails are so narrow and overgrown around here. Luckily we've always been able to keep up with our 33's or 35's depending on our configuration. Keep on exploring and enjoying with your FJ, they really are underrated by most in the off-road community. Cheers.
Gday, thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. I definitely foind a clean example of an FJ. The previous owner looked after it well. It had no modifications done.
