I would like to join your club I think? What materials will I need? Do I need a light box? I have never used this method before. Can I cut the pieces with a Cricut cutting machine? If I decide to join, can I stop when I want? I have debated on doing these quilts because they look so child like. My grandchildren and children are also all grown. I wouldn't really have a need to make it other than to just see if I could. I'd still like to try to make on quilt. Every time I see them come across my feed, I always want to make one. Thanks for what you offer.

We'd love to have you! You don't need any fancy materials - just fabric, and batting. I recommend Heat & Bond Lite fusible adhesive, but if you have a favorite - use it! You don't need a light box, but it's my new favorite tool. :-) There's a post here with more info, including a link to the light box I bought for myself. www.shinyhappyworld.com/2022/03/how-to-use-a-light-box-to-layer-applique.html The patterns all also include a video showing how to do the assembly without a light box. And there are lots of club members who - like you - want to make the quilts but whose children have outgrown them. A lot of them make and donate to The Linus Project, fire departments, foster kids moving in to new homes, nursing homes, and more. Yes, you can use a Cricut machine to cut out the pieces. All the patterns include SVG files for that. And you can quit at any time. 🙂Every month (a couple of days before the new pattern releases) you'll get an email reminding you that it's about to happen, with a link to manage your subscription if you need to update your payment info or unsubscribe.
