I am a arsonal fan and have been for a long time, but this battle showed me his true colours, no pun intended. He showed no sportsman ship in this, i know his mr. disrespectful but u didn't do the same with calicoe when he pulled out da flag. Charron won this, even though arsonal tried his best to intimidate him, charron was cool under pressure and stayed calm to edge the battle.

Man, Charron's second round was ridiculous. Three rebuttals off the bat, each one sick.
Arsonal clearly underestimated Charron, choked, looked up his phone and forgot his lines, interfered in Charron's verse verbally AND physically, Charron hit him where it hurts easy, Arsonal only good line was not a line, it was a picture, had some good lines around the pic thinking Charron would be intimidated. That said, Overall it was a good battle on both ends but its 3-0 Charron wins! so obvious, Ars was close in the second round but more so in the third round because of the picture (it was funny) but overall, I think this is easily 3-0. funny thing is, I just heard about Charron, I didn't think he would be good at all. Murdered Arsonal.

A few words before starting to break down the rounds: I've watched all Arsonal’s battles, in some I think he’s good and some I think he’s just ok. His last great performance to me was vs Shotty Horror. As for Charron I’m sorry to say that I only know what he did vs DNA, I think he did great, but it didn't make me go and watch his other battles... yet. As for the match-up in itself I thought this was a good one and I anticipated a good back and forth. But I didn't have any preference. So…
Round 1:
Arsonal started his round in good form, with all the expected aggressiveness. Then he mentioned his UW league, the Lux and Hollow battle, the money earned, that was a good set up, to belittle Charron, then more aggressiveness, gun bars and all in your face bars. At that point I was thinking ok Ars set the tone right.
Charron right out the gate had some very good rebuttals. Then the whole round he came at Arsonal’s neck, criticizing the fact the Ars doesn't come with any creativity anymore, and that his slogans almost take all the place in his rounds now. That was some real talk, that had to be said and Charron said it with a lot of CONVICTION. Then he ended his round with some disrespectful shit, showing that he could do what Ars does.
At that point I thought it was even, but I edged it to Charron because of the real talk he was giving to Ars. For me Ars had to come a bit stronger now….
Round 2:
Arsonal spat a few bars then he had a 'Pinocchio' scheme and started to go crazy and I thought ok, he’s coming back… then he pulled out his phone and did the “sike…” That was the first blow. But Ars went back into it, with more shit talk, always trying to make Charron look small, with some aggressive bars and ‘attempts’ at clever wordplay, then mentioned the BET thing, pushed Charron and ended his round without much originality. Although it was not a bad round, I didn't think he topped Charron’s first round.
Once again Charron had some dope rebuttals (on some Big Kannon level, meaning those rebuttals on their own almost beat the opponent’s round). The whole round Charron came with a lot of personals, not lacking any aggression, and some well placed wordplay. But what was really overpowering here again, is the real talk and the CONVICTION. For me he edged this round as well.
I guess the only way for Arsonal to make the battle look debatable now is by having an incredible third round.
Round 3:
Arsonal went into it with some ok bars, not really going anywhere with it and in the middle of it pulled out a picture of Charron and Pat Stay meant to discredit Charron’s sexuality. That was funny for 10 seconds, but other people have used pictures as a prop before, so there was nothing amazing in itself. And Ars didn't bring any great bars with it so the prop kind of flopped and worked against him. The rest of the round was borderline trash and it was ironic to hear him recite his slogan at the end: “you can’t spell bars without putting the ARS in it”, because he didn't end his battle with any bars.
A few rebuttals to put the bullshit aside, Charron went right back into it and continued breaking down Arsonal’s character with enough wordplay and conviction. As he pulled a blue bandana out of his pocket, Arsonal snatched it out his hands. So Arsonal just spent most of his last round with a prop (trying to discredit Charron’s sexuality) and didn't allow Charron to use one. That was not fair-play at all but all is good because Charron turned the situation to his advantage, he did a couple of freestyles about it and almost put Ars in a body bag right there on the spot.
I give this battle 3-0 to Charron and I’m a fan now.
Allowing for longer comments is the one good thing about the new commenting system. I think it's great that people can now leave a more thoughtful response to something like a rap battle. Nice comment.

For a while I was thinking about doing a blog with all my recaps but it's even better if I can put them just there among everybody's comments. People can take advantage of the new space given and explain their point of views with more depth.
Ok so, after watching the whole battle I do think it's clear that Charron won handily however, I see the whole "blue rag" situation a little differently. Charron should of never let Arsonal rip that shit out of his hands. He should of made sure there was a little more separation between them before he was about to put it on.
Because of the way the whole thing went down, Ars was able to basically punk him on stage for his blue rag without having to actually throw a punch and risk losing his whole pay check.
Amazingly, Charron was still able to rebound from it and finish out the round in a dominant fashion. An impressive performance from Charron.

***** ... I think Charron just didn't expect Arsonal to do that... and Arsonal was quick. But Arsonal without knowing it gave Charron the chance to flip it to his advantage and win the battle convincingly. Not everyone can freestyle and rebuttal but Charron really impresses me with it.

Charron was on a warpath, absolutely destroyed Ars and Ars knew it, and it's why he acted more and more like a bitch the longer the battle went.
