If people were as interested in this type of content as they were in Mr Beast. We'd be seeing discoveries that would blow our minds.

My mom’s go to complaint of tax dollar usage is “why are we sending stuff to outer space and the bottom of the ocean when we could use that money to help people?” Ugh. Mom, so much more money is spent on corporate bailouts and bombs killing innocent people

Has anyone ever produced a technical video of the systems and functions of the submarine? It would be interesting to know more about how this manned submarine functions during decent and ascent, and how it keeps its occupants alive and comfortable.

When you don’t know what your looking for...
... and don’t know what your looking at...
and use abominably bright lights in normally pitch black darkness... and when most bioluminescence is used by predators for trapping purposes... LOL
It would seem very reasonable to not see much...
They should be leaving monitoring systems in order to facilitate finding out what’s happening... and depending upon the depth of the silt it might be teeming with unknown organisms...
It’s a beautiful brilliant submarine with a awesome crew and launch vessel.
A helicopter dropping down randomly in the outback for fifteen minutes after descending from a ridiculous height probably would not see much either. lol

What exactly do we see at 1:45 when we look at the red, blinking, vertical line? 🤔

I like this realistic view, that exploration isn't a jungle temple every 30 meters.

Especially not with marine biologists.. I suspect you might have mistaken a marine research vehicle of The University of Western Australia with Captain Nemo's "Nautilus", could that be? 🤔

Shallow thinking. Exploration of science is not only the bottom, the way to reach the bottom too. Perhaps one day the technology will be used to keep you pressurised when you travel to Mars.
Am sure you will dispute and have some valid points too, but we definitely cant be going back and forth.
Science does require funding plus non shallow thinking. A crude example was playing aroung strong magnets using tax payers money, MRI was founded which now detects ailments even in non-tax payers
