The Note 13 is Redmi's successor to the Note 12. While it seems like an incremental upgrade, much has changed in terms of design. We also see an upgrade to refresh rate, peak brightness, and cameras. But are these enough to make it the best option for budget devices around its price?

Got it last week - absolutely enjoying it. It's time they sorted out MIUI to catch up with One U though. I was a long time Xiaomi fan but I used a Samsung as a transitional phone just before getting this - One UI is better in every way and I wasn't even using a good Samsung - I was using a A04e. I hope this Hyper OS delivers. I love ultrawide cameras but Redmi just put one there to say it's there - but it's totally useless! The main camera though is excellent. The display is gorgeous - fingerprint scanner is great, the slim bezels are very nice to look at. SPLIT SCREEN IS ACTUALLY THERE IZZI - you should have updated the phone before reviewing. What's with these sloppy errors guys - the other guy last week said it had a 680 processor which was totally false. I think it was Oscarmini who said that.

How great is the camera?
@@adeoyeadeniji4855 Camera is decent - it doesn't like heavy detail much - so trees, grass etc it's not great - but otherwise its fine. In good light its actually pretty nice.
Only reason I don't have interest in redmi is ui , samsung ui is much better other then that really good budget phone

Its not false because if u go to internal storage it will show what processor that phone is using but honestly its very fast its good for gaming
Here in the UK Amazon selling this phone for only £160 a bargain in my country when you consider an iPhone 12 which is a few years old is still selling for £499 new , I know this Xiaomi wont be as fast or have the best camera but its over £300 cheaper and £300 here is enough spare change to buy a new Laptop etc , Apple need to start living in the real world as these Chinese Smartphone brands are making devices which look better for a lot less cash. Also very good review i like your editing style its reminiscent of MKBHD

@@NamsoBrown note 13 is better in most aspects, it has 4 more gigabytes of ram if you buy the 8gb spec, it has a on screen fingerprint sensors which is rare in budget smartphones and it has a punch in front camera which in my opinion looks way more better and mordern, it has a better camera and ithas 120 refresh rate whch is way more better than the a15, it has more brightness and stereo speakers so yea
It's a cool looking phone I love the design thank God they didn't go with the iPhone design and the in display fingerprint that was unexpected for me personally if they have put the processor of the redmi note 10 pro the Snapdragon 732G this will easily be the best budget smartphone nothing can beat that processor on a budget smartphone

This review is timely as I'm considering getting this device.
Battery not as strong as it is described.. I got mine two weeks ago and I charge it twice a day.. not good for a new phone

I got this note 13 a month today and I'm not comfortable with the battery I don't know if it is normal. The battery was charged 100 % but waking up to 88 % even when the mobile data was turned off.
if u chose the 120hz mode, the battery will defntly drain fast, switch it to 60hz
Will this get the HyperOS update? I can't stand MIUI with all the random ads popping in when you're connected to the internet.

please where did you buy yours, i have been checking jumia and the one they have there has a 90hz refresh rate, lcd display and no stereo speaker, and i actually need this one in the video.

Haha at this point Xiaomi is just insulting the African market because they already make affordable 5g phones and only sell to asian markets, clearly their versions of the note 13 are much better

I have notice thst redmi is having issues with there phone software,i bought note 12 with hyperOs it was too bad thst it's freez while using it ,i have to go back to note 11 same issue but better a little.....

This is more recent and I'll say more balanced with its features, but the Infinix Note 30 will be a faster device and also offers more value since it's more affordable
