- 'Let's Go' trekking through charismatic culture and lush landscapes found throughout Seattle.
Sitting on the Puget Sound in the Pacific Northwest, Seattle is surrounded by water, mountains and dense forests. But what sets it apart isn't just the thousands parks and natural reserves, but its booming tech industry & artistic communities. From hosting the 1962 World's Fair to housing some of the largest tech corporations in the world with the likes of Microsoft and Amazon being headquartered their, Seattle is rooted in as much of the past as it is the future.
Seattle comes from the Indian name "Sealth" which means settled. In fact, the area has been "settled" by Native American's for over 4,000 years and due to it's proximity to so many natural resources, it is no wonder it has always been a hot commodity.
From Pikes Place and the birthplace of Starbucks to the untouched coastlines and dense forests, enjoy Seattle through the eyes of the BD Team and our local guide, Rob Strok.

I was there for 5 years and always been one of my favorite cities in the world. So inspiring ! :)
March 10th 2017 I proposed to my wife on the Vance Creek bridge. Not anything too crazy, but very sentimental to us. A truly breathtaking experience, and would recommend to anyone who hasn't stepped foot on it, to take advantage while you can.
Never had Seattle on my radar, always figured I'd just go back to Vancouver. The whole west coast is such a treat. Makes me want to explore more of it
if you end up at pike place market and you love seafood you gotta try crab pot

Loved this! I've lived in Seattle my whole life, and you encapsulated the city beautifully! Two things about the video description, the name Seattle comes from Chief Si'ahl (Chief Seattle / Sealth) who was the Chief of the Duwamish and Suquamish tribes. Second, the market is Pike Place, not Pikes Place.
The first video he made of Seattle won me over. Don't think it's posted anymore though. It's starlight un remixed of Seattle.
I spent most of my childhood at that beach. A lot of nostalgia seeing it in this video

I planning on moving there one day.. it seems like a really place & city to live in, and I especially love the fact that it gets all 4 distinct seasons, which I really love. I’m from Ohio and we get all 4 seasons as well which I love bc u get a chance to experience all 4 seasons. I was just researching Seattle today.. ❤️❤️☺️
Hella good video. Should be called "Washington" because the coast to the city is like 4 Hours and out to Snoqualmie Falls all that is deff not just Seattle

Molly Gorman, you're not from Seattle; the coast is 2hrs with no traffic. I'm from Seattle and visit all these sites once a year.

Was there last week and loved every moment. Seattle has plenty of things to see and do. Outdoorsy type of place, and the food was delicious!
