I had thought before I visited the website that the guitars that would all be in the 1-2 thousand range. I was impressed with the $650 price tag on the S2.6 C guitar. Good on Ola for making an *_affordable_* guitar.
And they are affordable with one of the best wood bodies of Alder. You won't find guitars from other companies in that price range with that wood.

I'm very proud that my country, Indonesia, has made a lot of good guitar from a lot of good brand, including, Solar.
The guitars look stealth and well built, i would trust Ola on these for sure, just look at his youtube history and that tells you he is definitely well knowledged on alot of guitars and would take certain aspects of other builds into consideration,
Im waiting for a custom line to be introduced with Solar as i do trust this company solidly,

2. Wouldnt it be cool if there was an semi-custom guitar brand in europe? It just makes sense. There are so many pickups woods etc. out there and everbody has a different taste.

Ideal Baritone expectation from Solar:
1) Stainless steel
2) 28" scale length
3) 6 string (not 7,8)
4) Evertune bridge
Ibanez is making guitars in Indonesia. Jackson is making guitars in Indonesia. Chapman is making guitars in Indonesia. Now Solar. Its time for people to stop sleeping on Indonesian guitars. They make good shit.
imdartson A UK acoustic brand called Faith make all their guitars their. Best guitars in their price range by far. So yes Indonesia is great for me the new Korea.
Much of ESP's LTD line is made there too and they're excellent instruments.
I own a Schecter and a Jackson, both from indonesia and both are great instruments. Better than my Gibson that cost twice as much 🤣

The only ones sleeping on them are the starved, sickly overworked Indonesian factory-workers, and they can be excused for falling out - just as we all would at the end of an 18 hour shift.
Many brands make guitars in Indonesia, but cheaper ones. Chapman's pro series are equally priced and some even cheaper than the top solar models, but they are made in Korea,superior to Indonesia by any standard, and come with both stainless steel frets and hardcase. Point is, many of these Solar guitars are overpriced. Cool guitars though.
I may have mentioned this before but Ola could quite possibly be the coolest dude on the planet

Plans on making some more unique looking models? Most brands carry Strat shaped guitars, while they are very pouplar and sell well would you concider something like a Xiphos, Warrior or Ironbird shape in the future?

Are the guitars made by cort? I love cort and how they made guitars (iirc washburns mii are made by cort and so are jackson pro series) i really hope that's the case and hope that one of the local stores makes a deal to carry solar guitars!

Gotta be honest, the MII tag has me a little wary. Im probably just unlucky, but I’ve had much better experiences with MIK guitars when it comes to playing imported guitars.
But hey if there’s any MII models that i want to prove me wrong, it’s these Solars coz the specs and aesthetics seem awesome and I trust your taste and vision!

When you say patience, do you mean 2000000 years before a lefty model or like 6 months to 1 year, also definetly include all or most of the sharp guitars as lefties since lefties barely get sharp guitars

How different are these Solar guitars from the washburn Solars? I have a 160C and wonder if theres a reason to upgrade at some point
