I joined the TN ANG in Aug 2020 to do cable, I can’t wait to be there
You'll enjoy it man. Lots of jobs on the outside.
@@jamesodell4453 I know this is old but I’m joining and leaving April 26 for this job . Is there really a lot of outside jobs ?
@@Jonarroyo_ People with Military Experience are preferred for RF Jobs. Why? Because nearly everybody from the ground floor all the way to the top have Military Experience. I have no Military Experience and I've been working in RF for 21 years, that's how I know... DO NOT go this route. No one will respect you unless you're some RF Savant and it doesn't sound like you are.
It would probably be easy for you to get an I.T. Job on the Federal level as well. Private Firms that do Foreign Contracts? You're at the front of the line and Man is that good bread. I did a job with some Marines that were fresh back from the Middle East.. Boy were they a HOOT! LOL!!!
@@MTXSHO9732vV8SHO would you recommend cables and attena or rf transmission in whos more important and a fun environment
Is this job the equivalent of a Power Lineman?
No - This job does not work with high voltage electricity. They work with low voltage communication wiring which is a separate system even in residential electrical work.
