    The ratchet wrench is one of the best tools to have , last year I replaced my starter solenoid with one from John Deere it only lasted a month I took your advice and got a Home Depot one (what ever brand they sell) it works great and saved a lot of money

      @@jimjackson9381 what motor from b&s would you say was the best motor put on a snapper?

      I would think somewhere around a 10 horse or a 12 horse engine would be plenty big for a 28 inch machine. Jim

    Hi Jim! Do you still make the heavy duty spreader bars? My thin OEM one is bent. Thank you for all the great information! Sincerely, Craig

      Yes, I do. They’re somewhere around $20 apiece. I don’t know exactly I think it’s 1950. I’m not sure and it’s $11 shipping and I have PayPal if you’re interested.

      If you are a subscriber to my channel, you don’t need links to find a videos you’re looking for all my videos are numbered and titled to make it easier for my viewers just above on my homepage where it says manage videos. There is a link you can touch to bring up a complete directories of all my videos by number and title, I don’t think anyone else on RUclips offers this for their viewers.

    Can i slide my axle out left side to install new boots?

    • @jimjackson9381
      @jimjackson9381  2 месяца назад

      If you have your machine standing up and you’re looking at the bottom of the machine, the fender on the left-hand side with a differential on it, unbolt the six bolts and the spreader bar, and you can slide the assembly out of the rear case once you take the tire and wheel flange off of the right side then you can replace the boots and slide it back together

      Well do not get one from Amazon they hardly ever work and if it does it doesn’t for long. I would go to your Ace Hardware and have them order you one. Jim
