Well I was the most lovable character - people loved me for me psychopath status and that's what made the Game of Thrones amazing to watch but now thanks those 2 (D&D) we no longer have such a character anymore that could replace me or even Joffrey Baratheon. God only help us if these last 2 seasons are gonna end up very sour to watch.

Daenerys Targaryen Every year it's incredibly awkward and cringey for me to watch, it must be horrible for the people on the panel having to answer these horrific questions, especially when they have to keep a straight face. I imagine it was just to make the panel slightly more bearable.

No it's the way the video is shot, we only hear what the panel is saying but we can't hear the reaction from the crowd which makes it really awkward, like no one is laughing or reacting to the panel but of course they are we just can't hear it, I blame the editing

The most awful panel of Got. The moderator is awful. Creators overdrink vodka and while theyre saying something i can go to bed already. The actors are good - but if you started to feel awkward and awkward answering you will feel this way until the end of panel.

well they are drunk XD nah they aren't that bad, they've never stolen credit for George's work even when they succeed on their own with Hardhome, Tywin's expanded role, Sansa's S6 journey and other things. they've also never blamed George for their own faults like with Dorne, they know they fucked up. They have a very healthy and professional relationship with George, even if they've disagreed with things. They are still fans of his work, and trying to do justice to HIS world and HIS story.

David and Dan have consistently been kind and generous with fandom, even while a number of fandom people curses them for changing things, rants about them, and flinging personal insults at them - every time when a question comes up about fandom, they've been very nice and professional, stating that fans are always allowed to interpret things what they want and feel how they feel, and that all they can do with the show is create the best they can - few show runners would bother to acknowledge fandom anger or even validate it as they would, 6 seasons, they deal with 6 seasons and 6 years of people judging them for this or that yet they have always remained kind and professional. I'm glad that you got GRRM to write to you when you ask a question, that's great, but don't somehow make that into a standard of which to expect that everyone must do

My impression is Sophie feels frustrated the majority of fans don't see Sansa the same way they do Dany, Cersei and Arya. Worsening that frustration is the fact that the 3 who portray those characters got Emmy nominations while Sophie was shut out. Which tells you the Emmy Academy doesn't view Sansa or Sophie in their league either. I think that and a mix of some alcohol made it all boil over here, because some of her statements seemed like she herself, not just the fictional character she portrays, felt slighted.

I can't blame her for supporting and praising her character! And I agree with her on many points. In my opinion, Sansa has become more interesting than Arya. And I'm far from the only one who thinks that. Just because she doesn't fight with a sword and doesn't have a list of people she wants to kill, that doesn't make her less interesting or not strong. And this was Sansa's year. Many many fans were frustrated over Sophie being snubbed for the Emmys. Fuck the Emmy Academy. They nominate Peter Dinklage who did nothing this season and they made him win last year despite the fact that he didn't do anything last year either, I can't take the Emmy Academy seriously. When Peter REALLY deserved an Emmy for his amazing work in Season 4, they didn't give him one. How can you take the Emmys seriously? LOL.

Yeah, the French lost because there was so much mud and they got all clumped up and then the British rained arrows on them.

Having said that, can we know why can't the panel be fully posted like in the previous years? And considering another panels have been fully posted this year already (like Teen Wolf)? Can't they shoot all the indoor scenes now? Then shoot all the outside scenes as soon as winter begins that would save time.
Would probably more costly though to have split sessions instead of doing it all at once and post production would still be time consuming.
Actors don't just sit around when one project isn't filming.. they film other things. Notice how arguably the "main" characters of the season/show weren't there for the panel?
Nanner Hammock Oh yeah. I can just imagine how expensive some of these actors could be, after 6 seasons, if they had to make two separate schedules for the show's filming.
they would have to hire the cast and crew for the time spent, even if they're just shooting easy scenes at 20% capacity.
I have no doubt that the different unions they are dealing with would make it very costly to use them twice in short successions. They might have rules that state that short breaks between shooting the same show is paid time and the cost of set up and tear down probably negates this idea as well.
