BTW, this week I've discovered that this foundation holds up ten times better with the Hangover primer. You'd think that one probably doesn't do very much but it makes a big difference for me. The more matte/dry the primer is the worst it reacts. So I've actually switched to a more nourishing primer. idk if that matters but I thought I would share lol

That hangover primer is the truth, I have oily skin and I find it doesn't make me more oily, it actually controls my oil production and it makes my skin feel smooth and bouncy!😁

I know you're not 100% on board with the undertone of the concealer and foundation, but they really look good on you, at least on camera from our perspective.
I’m not so sure it’s that I’m not on board with it I just felt like it was a lot of Gold lol but then again I’m use to most things I try being red/orange 😂

Agree. I think I could go with a more golden undertone after seeing this. It's the persistent "oh you're tan/olive? Here's an orange undertone for you!" that's driving me bonkers. lol I AM NOT ORANGE! Yeesh.

Well cocoa is the next shade down so I feel like I’m good with these two shades! Sephora’s iq reader now says my shade is spiced rum ... they can no longer be trusted 😂

Timarasu matched you perfectly on camera. I'm golden as well, but I dont like the center of my face to be gold either. I use a golden foundation with either a neutral or cool concealer/highlighter. That's my perfect and most natural undertone combination.

I thought the same! A lot of women with deep complexions have beautiful, even skin. Nyma Tang is another influencer with gorgeous skin. She doesn’t even need highlighter because she literally glows. I’m glad companies are expanding their shades. It’s hard enough to find a foundation that works with your skin type/other preferences, so companies need to come through in catering to ALL skin tones. I think a lot of foundations run too pink or too yellow. They need to make more true neutral undertones.

Shi Reads I believe she said she has combo skin, and I’m a oily beast that’s lives in a hot and humid climate I will not be able to wear maybe during the 2 weeks of winter that we get in Florida lol!

The golden undertone is stunning on you. It brings out your cheekbones. You look glowy. I don't think foundation has to match perfectly. I sometimes choose a color I wish I were than the natural one.

I remember you were 450 in Fenty. So I will actually try the Too Face foundation Tiramisu. I feel the 450 shade in Fenty is a little more red on me. So this might be the answer.

I tried BTW and didn't like it either, but I have an oily t-zone, so that's probably why it didn't work for me. I'm glad to see brands trying to push the shade ranges now, though. If that tarte dust up did anything (and the resulting boycotts by a number of their customers), it made it pretty clear that we're REALLY fed up with limited shade ranges that are just so many variations of beige.

I love that they expanded their shade range and collaborated with a woman of color to do so. Brands have no excuse to not be inclusive. I think that shade looks gorg on you! I agree with you on the formula, I gave my BTW foundation away because it could not hold up to my oily skin. I would love a better shade range for the peach perfect foundation.

The foundation and concealer looks heavenly on your skin!! God damn!! I don't think there's any foundation that can hold up for 24hrs and brands needs to stop saying that, besides no one wants to wear makeup for 24hrs. You'll ALWAYS have to blot at some point during the day. THAT'S A FACT

The foundation just melted into your face. When you first tapped it on I was like wow! It was perfection on your skin and I didn't see anything wrong with the undertone. Now when you placed it on your chest it just dissolved like butter into the skin without even blending it out. The other two sat on your skin the entire video this one just burrowed in and made itself at home. It truly is very beautiful on you, I predict it will become a favourite for you and many girls with your skin tone. Well done to you and well done to Jackie!!!!

I think this is the best your face has ever looked. You look radiant and bright. Sometime you look a bit ashy with the neutral tones. You look amazing. You shouldn’t feel uncomfortable. If you look at your chest the shade Jacks made set into your chest the best. The concealer is amazing the whole thing is great.
at first it was really noticeable but with the concealer and everything it looks really good. Like, it gives your face a lift and a brightness. So i guess you can mix it up sometimes and not always go with foundations that have neutral undertones.
