Lowkey I agree at the Lane Mastery stuff, also they should reduce the Credit score by 2 everytime they don't follow the rules, and if they do it multiple times like 2-5 more times the reduction goes stronger. At the first three, a warning but 4th and 5th, credit score reduction. And yea if they are on a disobeying the rule streak, reduction increase by 1 credit score.

The truth, reporting will just waste energy and time. Nothing really gets punished. its just a system that wanted you to make feel better when you reported. Even there is really nothing gets done.
Making a somewhat strict rule for the lane matchmaking system : 1. Not sticking to lane should result in a 1 match ban (Forced to play brawl/classic for a match) then the ban timer would start 2. Not earning bp (this won't matter for higher ranks) 3. Semi-afk punishment, not being able to earn stars 4. of course can't forget about that credit score. -2 on each violation and for extras make them unable to earn those credit score for some time 5. make them unable to use the heroes that they had just used. 6. If they keep doing it, ban the 3 most used heroes for current season and all season. 7. Ban the lane role that they chose (Exp, Gold, etc) 8. Ban the fighter,marksman,tank roles in general. So in turn they can only use mage or smth 9.The more they violate the terms the longer match bans and credit score deduction should be 10. Put something in their name/acc to indicate that they frequently violate the terms 11.automated MLBB uninstallation 12. Call the police on them 13. put them in a rubber room a rubber room with rats

yeah the same team stealing buffs should be a bad thing and instead even if someone other than the jungler last hits the creep, the buff should go to the jungler as long as the last hit was done near a jungler and the jungler is in the same team as the last hitting user. otherwise if the last hit was done by someone from the other team and the enemy jungler is not present, the buff goes to the last hitter. we need a compensation feature like this. even if slightly complicated, this can resolve most problems of junglers.
I think it definitely needs to be improved. Every country has its own mass of bad and troll players. Penalties can be as follows depending on how often they are repeated For example; 5 minutes not to enter the ranked match , 10m > 30m > 1 hour. They can play in modes that do not require more intelligence.
just like in dota2, this feature would only be implemented on lower ranks. because in high ranks you seldom see troll picks and even can make any hero work in every lane.
This feature helps us grind more. Not only DOTA implemented this. but also LOL and LOL WR. With this, we can focus on our desired lane and be more competitive. Less tilt or trashtalk in-game or in picking.

Tho Carmilla Hylos and Akai are very common exp picks in immortal nowadays because they are able to clear minions quick and rotate quicker than other tanks

He provided vision and helped gank and push advantage, giving us a lead and winning us the game. On the otherhand, I played second mage AA Chang'e on exp lane. Prevented from dying in the early game; got 50%+ turret damage at the end of the game, winning us with a three lane consecutive push. Sometimes, wrong lane just means winning a different way.
Hero-based lane mastery is a bit hard for ML because a hero can play many roles, heck, even more than 2. You have seen Freya and Argus in the exp lane, jungle, and gold lane. Selena in jungle, mid lane, and roaming. Popol in jungle, gold lane, and roaming. Jawhead and Hylos in exp lane, jungle, and roaming. Julian in exp lane, mid, jungle. Alice and Harith in, heck, every lane except roam. And who knows what the future meta will bring?
Also, you know, lane mastery + lane prepick is exactly what it's like in HoK. The result? Players spamming 1 damn hero every damn match. Check their match history. It's dominated by 1 favorite hero. No need to think about counter, just pick your favorite hero. Also they score you very lowly if you play hero that doesn't belong in your lane (as they designated it). For example, Dharma plays well as a tank roam, but you'll get low score because he's a Clash Lane Fighter and assists and tanking don't get him much point. In ML terms, that'd be what it was to play Chou tank roam in the early days before he got recognized as roamer.
It's just my opinion, (I know not a lot of people would agree, so I'm open to your opinions) but the thing with lane matchmaking is that, for me, a small group of heroes are sometimes better not with their game intended lane and could sometime even do better than the heroes with their lane setted up by the game.

Let's be honest, lane matchmaking is just to make people shut up from getting false hope. Nothing is going to change. Even if people genuinely picked suitable heroes for their roles, Moonton's matchmaking will put good players with bad teammates who don't know what they are doing, even in their main role. For example, a bad teammates who played 3000 matches in gold lane but still goes 0/11/2 after having the role.
Relax brother, don't complain, if you get bad teammates report them and move on, take a fresh breath of air if you lose and take like a 15 minute break
I strongly agree with your statement about adding Lane Mastery. This way, some players who have high mastery at one lane can probably convince the other player who is picking the same lane as them For example, a player wants to go gold lane as a low mastery of that lane. One player who is good at that lane can show and convince the person who is picking gold.
They should make a punishment same as the afk one or dodge … first time warning, then credit score deduction that increases with every time.. and maybe time limit before matching or even ban from rank for a specific time or number of matches
NGL that's a great advise. Make it more rewarding for the player on sticking on its lane. HOK has this feature as well - giving rewards thru lane 😮masteries The punishment should be a minus in credit score and game ban in ranked (2-4-8-16-32-etc)
Combining lane mastery and lane matchmaking was really a good idea, it was so hard to collect mastery and because you don't know what lanes do you play in solo queue sometimes you get the lane you want and sometimes you don't, and probably a reason why it's still not on original server despite being a good feature.
this is helpful cause many players wants to stay one lane but in the bright side no more trolling of lane and role but moontoon should be more strict about trolling of lanes and roles this is better than letting players going to pick own lanes and trolling what lane they go
If people play different champs in their selected lanes they shouldn’t receive penalty but if they take the people’s lanes and then they should , for example mage adc and jungle roles are the most unique unlike exp or roam where you can adjust . If you selected mid and play adc you should get ban for a few hours after the first game and if you repeat that penalty should multiply. For jungle as long as you take retri any champ should be fine if it’s your selected lane. Give people a solo q only leaderboard and they will not troll that’s the best incentive to get players to give it their all.Actually when I think about it roamer is also a very important role which should stick to its champion pool. Roamer adc and mid should always stick to its champions pool for their lanes.
its just like their report system that keeps saying "this player didnt violate anything" when its very clear that the player played very badly, bronze after the match, picked the same role. The only thing you can report is afk and trashtalkers
This plus the report system. They can ask like "How was your game? Did your teammates fulfill their assigned roles?" Smth like that. The system alone is more of a suggestion or a structure that players can follow. You need to bundle it with something like the report system, the mentioned lane mastery, and other variables to let the players actually come into and respect it.

The real need of the hour is to have the option to avoid/prevent team ups (squad/trio/dous) as a solo player. Some of us aren't blessed with active friends or just likes to do solo gaming. FYI, this feature has been already implemented on certain games such as DOTA 2.
Maybe it is bc its new or bc off current behaiviors on the main server, but in wild rift imo it works perfectly even without warnings. Like, nobody plays a different lane and people can actualy ask other to switch lanes bc they didnt get they preferred lane and if the other says yes and they swap, nothing happens. But that usualy dont happen (at least for me) and people just play the role they get, even if they are autofiled
I was thinking hard about this and... for those hero that can be put like instead of going mid they go to goldlane.. not ff the chosen role.. if the game won there should be no punishment but if it lost there should be an immediate punishment to this type of situation like removing 5 CS...

They need to ban them at least for 1 day and continuous wrong picks should add extra ban time everytime . Also i dont like the fact that the roam indicator tells him to go to gold lane , it will make new roam players go to gold lane and they wont help their jungler ( as they always do )

Updating Lane Heroes: kinda need to update other heroes in subcategory: like Crowd Control, support and Guard heroes can also play as Roamer. Reap or chase on gold, core and exp for example. (Seeing Masha and Argus in gold lane is not bad thou not only marksmans..) Burst has many kinds, it should follow the main category. not all burst heroes can play as core like eudora. Mix damage either exp, mid and Roam. (Bane and Esmeralda.) Damage are mostly mage fighters and assasins, also can roam. Finishers only on Gold. But still Follows the main category. Mage, Fighter, Tank, Marksman, Assassin and Support. Sub category can use to access to other lanes. Example: Xavier is a mage prefers in mid lane but can also roam because hes in Guard Sub catergory. kinda need to rework the sub category for proper laning.
If this feature has officially arrived in the Official Server, Is buying roaming boots after the 8-minute mark now ineffective? In MPL and Classic, Probably not, But in Rank games, Might be.
It's prolly because it's early stages of testing but I hope the punishment for doing that is more severe than deducting 2 credit points and waiting 5 mins in lobby.
Matchmaking based off lane mastery would be better so the more heroes you master and have good winrate on the better your mastery is and your compablity with other good players I agree with that as a developer you can't force players to play good but you can sure as hell keep them away from good players. Violations in one match should be stackable like verbal abuse and feeding that happens simply lock rank mode for a week or so credit score point's should also make a difference in matchmaking
They should do it like in HoK where the hero selection available will be for the lane you chose in match making. And if you choose a hero from a different lane, you will get penalized.
It would be beneficial if players who do not follow lane roles or intentionally throw matches are required to complete 10 classic matches (with at least 5 wins) before being allowed to return to ranked play. This would encourage players to play cooperatively and respectfully, even during the punishment period.
*Idea for punishment to avoid trolls:* - If that player got bronze and not following their lane, give them -5 deduction of stars and credit score, if they don't follow their lane, -2 deduction of stars and -3 deduction of credit score
HOK have this feature and they seem to have perfected it. You will be given the chance to choose your main lane and a sub lane before starting a match, and when you start a match if you have a team that has a better stats than you on your main lane you will be assigned to your sub lane and there is no way to change it and you can only choose the hero designated to the lanes so no room for trolling. Hopefully moonton will be able to do this as well soon so no more of those trolls.

My only problem is, I want to go Roam (hypothetically) but 3 players wants to go GOLD lane and most of them doesn't know how to jungle nor EXP. I tested on 10 accounts and got 65%-75% win rates. That's fine. It evens out. The problem is 3 gold laners or 3 junglers etc, gets queued up is my team. What happens if you pick 3 lanes (exp, jungle and roam), but you are selected to jungle and the one in exp or roam want to jungle, where you accept. Let’s say something like this happens like 10 or more times, but the reason being is because the one picked on exp or roam really wants to jungle and you have no problem as your main 3 lanes are any of the 3 I mentioned. Will there be one of those bad messages coming to you or punish you? Even if you play on the role that the game didn’t placed you in? If it punishes you, I find it wrong as it affects the collaboration choice between the players and in the end you still played a lane you stated in the matchmaking to be a preferred position, where I find that the other player wanting that role also had it in their selection as one of the preferred roles. My question is so specific about exp, jungle and roam because those 3 roles are my best roles and I don’t mind which one I play as long as I don’t play my noob roles of goldlane and midlane. But some reason I can easily use mm and mage characters with good success as roam and jungle role, while a smaller selection with success in exp lane, but I cannot succeed in midlane and goldlane.

I wonder if players that had to adjust because of lane abusing from others would get penalised too. This will be incredibly stupid if it would. Overall, I think there shouldn't be a strict penalty for choosing a different lane as there can be cases when lane switch might be reasonable. The lane choosing system itself will cut most of the cases when people argue for the role. As an option, it can be made so there wouldn't be the penalty if player decided to switch lane to ones he choose initially. Like for example, he choosed gold, exp, roam and later can switch to any of these roles if necessary. In addition, rarely but there are cases when its possible to get roamer boots bonus as non-roamer like it was showed in previous video from Elgin. This should be considered by matching system as well.

For me if the player choose the role they want its better that in the picking section the other role that you have not chosen should be lock so that they can only choose the hero of the role they choose..

If i were the developer Repeated violation would warrant penalty and temporary ban on matchmaking if they violated 5 and above times regardless if continous or not.. Im really sick and hate players who doesnt play their role picked and usually switching during the picking especially when the time is running out.. cause not all can adjust their role to compromise the intentional role switch..

Not playing your selected role should result in these punishments: 1st offense: Warning; Ranked matchmaking ban for 2 matches 2nd offense: Ranked matchmaking ban for 2 hours; 5 matches 3rd offense: Ranked matchmaking ban for 1day; 10 matches 4th offense: Ranked matchmaking ban for 1 week; 30 matches 5th offense: Permanent ban for Ranked matchmaking If the punishments were too lite, then abusive trolls will just continue messing the matchmaking line up which is disgusting. They can also add an option for pure Solo Queue and Team Queue, same as in Dota 2.

If you match with a team that has the same win rate as you, the problem is solved. For example, I don't want to be matched with a spammer with 50 wr with 15k matches...
The easiest way developer can do this is to only appear hero to that lane only. For example they pick mid lane, only allow user to pick mid lane hero and make it blank for other role hero which they will unable to pick or use. Well i played a lot of moba game i know a few which use this kind of method. Which is cool no need to fight, lol

Buying roaming boot shouldn't be detected at least not the entire game, on high rank game people buy roam boot after the 8th min mark

Hero-based lane mastery is a bit hard for ML because a hero can play many roles, heck, even more than 2. You have seen Freya and Argus in the exp lane, jungle, and gold lane. Selena in jungle, mid lane, and roaming. Popol in jungle, gold lane, and roaming. Jawhead and Hylos in exp lane, jungle, and roaming. Julian in exp lane, mid, jungle. Alice and Harith in, heck, every lane except roam. And who knows what the future meta will bring?
Also, you know, lane mastery + lane prepick is exactly what it's like in HoK. The result? Players spamming 1 damn hero every damn match. Check their match history. It's dominated by 1 favorite hero. No need to think about counter, just pick your favorite hero.
Also they score you very lowly if you play hero that doesn't belong in your lane (as they designated it). For example, Dharma plays well as a tank roam, but you'll get low score because he's a Clash Lane Fighter and assists and tanking don't get him much point. In ML terms, that'd be what it was to play Chou tank roam in the early days before he got recognized as roamer.

but the thing with lane matchmaking is that, for me, a small group of heroes are sometimes better not with their game intended lane and could sometime even do better than the heroes with their lane setted up by the game.

Let's be honest, lane matchmaking is just to make people shut up from getting false hope. Nothing is going to change. Even if people genuinely picked suitable heroes for their roles, Moonton's matchmaking will put good players with bad teammates who don't know what they are doing, even in their main role. For example, a bad teammates who played 3000 matches in gold lane but still goes 0/11/2 after having the role.
Relax brother, don't complain, if you get bad teammates report them and move on, take a fresh breath of air if you lose and take like a 15 minute break
I strongly agree with your statement about adding Lane Mastery. This way, some players who have high mastery at one lane can probably convince the other player who is picking the same lane as them
For example, a player wants to go gold lane as a low mastery of that lane. One player who is good at that lane can show and convince the person who is picking gold.
They should make a punishment same as the afk one or dodge … first time warning, then credit score deduction that increases with every time.. and maybe time limit before matching or even ban from rank for a specific time or number of matches
NGL that's a great advise. Make it more rewarding for the player on sticking on its lane.

The punishment should be a minus in credit score and game ban in ranked (2-4-8-16-32-etc)

Combining lane mastery and lane matchmaking was really a good idea, it was so hard to collect mastery and because you don't know what lanes do you play in solo queue sometimes you get the lane you want and sometimes you don't, and probably a reason why it's still not on original server despite being a good feature.
this is helpful cause many players wants to stay one lane but
in the bright side no more trolling of lane and role but moontoon should be more strict about trolling of lanes and roles
this is better than letting players going to pick own lanes and trolling what lane they go
If people play different champs in their selected lanes they shouldn’t receive penalty but if they take the people’s lanes and then they should , for example mage adc and jungle roles are the most unique unlike exp or roam where you can adjust . If you selected mid and play adc you should get ban for a few hours after the first game and if you repeat that penalty should multiply. For jungle as long as you take retri any champ should be fine if it’s your selected lane. Give people a solo q only leaderboard and they will not troll that’s the best incentive to get players to give it their all.Actually when I think about it roamer is also a very important role which should stick to its champion pool. Roamer adc and mid should always stick to its champions pool for their lanes.
its just like their report system that keeps saying "this player didnt violate anything" when its very clear that the player played very badly, bronze after the match, picked the same role. The only thing you can report is afk and trashtalkers
This plus the report system. They can ask like "How was your game? Did your teammates fulfill their assigned roles?" Smth like that.
The system alone is more of a suggestion or a structure that players can follow. You need to bundle it with something like the report system, the mentioned lane mastery, and other variables to let the players actually come into and respect it.

The real need of the hour is to have the option to avoid/prevent team ups (squad/trio/dous) as a solo player.
Some of us aren't blessed with active friends or just likes to do solo gaming. FYI, this feature has been already implemented on certain games such as DOTA 2.
Maybe it is bc its new or bc off current behaiviors on the main server, but in wild rift imo it works perfectly even without warnings. Like, nobody plays a different lane and people can actualy ask other to switch lanes bc they didnt get they preferred lane and if the other says yes and they swap, nothing happens. But that usualy dont happen (at least for me) and people just play the role they get, even if they are autofiled

upon Defeat:
- minus points in using a wrong heroes in preferred lane.

Burst has many kinds, it should follow the main category. not all burst heroes can play as core like eudora.
Mix damage either exp, mid and Roam. (Bane and Esmeralda.)
Damage are mostly mage fighters and assasins, also can roam.
Finishers only on Gold.
But still Follows the main category. Mage, Fighter, Tank, Marksman, Assassin and Support. Sub category can use to access to other lanes.
Example: Xavier is a mage prefers in mid lane but can also roam because hes in Guard Sub catergory.

Lane matchmaking was never a major problem. The real problem is the difference in rank between teammates and enemy. They should fix this first

Punishment should be severe so there'll be less offenders if not its just gonna be a useless feature that makes matchmaking longer.
Matchmaking based off lane mastery would be better so the more heroes you master and have good winrate on the better your mastery is and your compablity with other good players I agree with that as a developer you can't force players to play good but you can sure as hell keep them away from good players.
Violations in one match should be stackable like verbal abuse and feeding that happens simply lock rank mode for a week or so credit score point's should also make a difference in matchmaking

They should do it like in HoK where the hero selection available will be for the lane you chose in match making. And if you choose a hero from a different lane, you will get penalized.
It would be beneficial if players who do not follow lane roles or intentionally throw matches are required to complete 10 classic matches (with at least 5 wins) before being allowed to return to ranked play. This would encourage players to play cooperatively and respectfully, even during the punishment period.
Fiuh as long as you played well, no one will insult you. Even wrong lane, wrong hero
It's better during the selection, the first who took the designated role is the one take that lane, others insist to take the role taken by others.
*Idea for punishment to avoid trolls:*
- If that player got bronze and not following their lane, give them -5 deduction of stars and credit score, if they don't follow their lane, -2 deduction of stars and -3 deduction of credit score
HOK have this feature and they seem to have perfected it. You will be given the chance to choose your main lane and a sub lane before starting a match, and when you start a match if you have a team that has a better stats than you on your main lane you will be assigned to your sub lane and there is no way to change it and you can only choose the hero designated to the lanes so no room for trolling. Hopefully moonton will be able to do this as well soon so no more of those trolls.

Roam Suyou? Whatever! My only problem is, I want to go Roam (hypothetically) but 3 players wants to go GOLD lane and most of them doesn't know how to jungle nor EXP. My point is this algorithm should segregate these gold laners to different teams with different lane preferences. Give weekly rewards to players who play different roles atleast 7x per week, like 10 hero fragments. in 3 months they can buy 1 hero with that. ex. Play 5 different lanes 2x in weekly rewards. Just to make them feel other lanes. IDK about the punishments. Probably same as AFK people. Normal players play 3 games a day average so, punishment should just stack. I'll take a 1 min queue. I played League already so, I know. Just give me players on their proper lanes. The previous system already gives average or minimum 50% win rate whether you play good or not. I tested on 10 accounts and got 65%-75% win rates. That's fine. It evens out. The problem is 3 gold laners or 3 junglers etc, gets queued up is my team. And I'm like, "tHeY sTiLl hAvEn'T FiXeD tHiS?" yeah! It's long awaited and I'm kinda excited. Kinda.

What happens if you pick 3 lanes (exp, jungle and roam), but you are selected to jungle and the one in exp or roam want to jungle, where you accept. Let’s say something like this happens like 10 or more times, but the reason being is because the one picked on exp or roam really wants to jungle and you have no problem as your main 3 lanes are any of the 3 I mentioned.
Will there be one of those bad messages coming to you or punish you? Even if you play on the role that the game didn’t placed you in? If it punishes you, I find it wrong as it affects the collaboration choice between the players and in the end you still played a lane you stated in the matchmaking to be a preferred position, where I find that the other player wanting that role also had it in their selection as one of the preferred roles.
My question is so specific about exp, jungle and roam because those 3 roles are my best roles and I don’t mind which one I play as long as I don’t play my noob roles of goldlane and midlane. But some reason I can easily use mm and mage characters with good success as roam and jungle role, while a smaller selection with success in exp lane, but I cannot succeed in midlane and goldlane.
they should probably make a few adjustments there are certain heroes that do better in certain lanes even tho it's not their assigned lane like selena support is a thing

If you pick mid lane from the start you can only only pick mid lane hero...hindi ka pwede mag pick ng ibang lane hero dapat naka dark shade yung ibang lane hero tapos yung pang mid lane hero lang yung naka lighten..dapat ganyan gawin ni moonton
i think malabo or mahirap i-implement yng sinasabi mo dahil sa mga orthodox picks... good example ay yng ruby gold lane. yng previous season di ginagawang gold lane yan tapos sa nakaraan na season ay bigla na sya naging viable as gold laner. yng isa pa na hero ay si harith. dati either mid lane or jungle. tapos sa current meta viable na sa gold...

I wonder if players that had to adjust because of lane abusing from others would get penalised too. This will be incredibly stupid if it would. Overall, I think there shouldn't be a strict penalty for choosing a different lane as there can be cases when lane switch might be reasonable. The lane choosing system itself will cut most of the cases when people argue for the role.
As an option, it can be made so there wouldn't be the penalty if player decided to switch lane to ones he choose initially. Like for example, he choosed gold, exp, roam and later can switch to any of these roles if necessary.
In addition, rarely but there are cases when its possible to get roamer boots bonus as non-roamer like it was showed in previous video from Elgin. This should be considered by matching system as well.

For me if the player choose the role they want its better that in the picking section the other role that you have not chosen should be lock so that they can only choose the hero of the role they choose..
does this new system affect 5man matchups? because this will really affect the flexibility on team practices, we all know the unorthodox picks is drafted while picking this just implies for solo que players

Not playing your selected role should result in these punishments:
1st offense: Warning; Ranked matchmaking ban for 2 matches
2nd offense: Ranked matchmaking ban for 2 hours; 5 matches
3rd offense: Ranked matchmaking ban for 1day; 10 matches
4th offense: Ranked matchmaking ban for 1 week; 30 matches
5th offense: Permanent ban for Ranked matchmaking
If the punishments were too lite, then abusive trolls will just continue messing the matchmaking line up which is disgusting.
They can also add an option for pure Solo Queue and Team Queue, same as in Dota 2.
Maybe it's still developing.. but I do hope that the player who abuses the lane matchmaking system get banned from ranked for a few hours.. or maybe deduct 5 credit scores..
The reason there's no punishments might be because it's not implemented yet.

If you match with a team that has the same win rate as you, the problem is solved. For example, I don't want to be matched with a spammer with 50 wr with 15k matches...

i don't like how it denies using roam boots on different lanes. i mean, you can have 2 roam boots in a team (if you play properly)

The easiest way developer can do this is to only appear hero to that lane only. For example they pick mid lane, only allow user to pick mid lane hero and make it blank for other role hero which they will unable to pick or use. Well i played a lot of moba game i know a few which use this kind of method. Which is cool no need to fight, lol
