Waste of an awesome effect, yeah. It would've been cool if at some point he just let it rotate like 3 or 4 times; it seemed pretty smooth. I don't think he had a lot of confidence in the rig or his ability to recover cleanly though. You can see how he's very defensive and cautious during the single spin. As a result we get quality work on a neat set piece that is tragically underutilized.

Maybe it was some overcompensatory reflex to emphasize the penultimate syllable in conformity with the verb? Following up a trochee with a dactyl is always awkward, so it's understandable. Adding the article "the" to the line would've made it easier on the performer. Or maybe it was no real contextual explanation for that particular pronunciation. We was just off already and couldn't recover quickly enough to have full mental command over what he was reading.
The cast did an exceptionally impressive job looking like actual animatronics. The costumes and their consist movements looks so consistently unnatural, it’s perfect
