How do you get your double bass that fast? I've been doing the derek roddy excercises but haven't been able to get my blasts and double bass to that speed. Any tips for the blasts as well? I use german grip with wrists and fingers, will that get me to your speed? Let me know thanks.
@@falconer7447 lol this is not what triggers do but ok. well, technically they can, but no one in deathmetal makes a single hit into 2 hits. how could that possibly sound in time? you should know, if your big-brain figured this out by looking at drummers do double-stroke heel-toe hits so they hit the kick drum twice for each time they lift their leg up and down .. well they are actually hitting the drum twice, look up double stroke kickdrum techniques on youtube! Also as a drummer who plays with triggers in his deathmetal band, and not in his blackmetal/grindcore/etc bands, triggers are not fucking easy to make sound good or play properly! you have to play really steady or it doesn't 'trigger' every time you hit. So you are full of shit. Thank you for attending my Ted talk.

Its fake...triggering allowes you to multiply your kicks so they sound faster as you actualy hit the basedrum.

Single strokes. And no triggers don't make you cheat. It's the same as playing on an ekit. You're no faster then on an acoustic kit.
