She made me feel so seen and validated and I love her for that. Such a well done film and a beautiful moment for her and all Swiftie’s :,)

It’s a sneaky way of avoiding saying ummmm. Saying thank you, or that’s a great question gives the person some time to think.

I'm 63! Yet I got introduced to TS thru my young niece and her friends and make connections with her music like I did with Joni Mitchell's in my youth.
Have to say this artist is right about the music belonging to everyone after it's shared with us. At my age, surprisingly, I feel the passion turned into heartbreak of this work. I'd never be able to sing it myself without breaking into angry tears. Even 40 something yrs (and 35yrs of safe but unexceptional marriage to someone else) later! Never let myself feel that strongly as 19yr old love ever again.
Getting your heart broken at any age hurts, but @ 19 it just shatters like glass. She nailed it, for sure.

"Thank you for asking, that's such a good question" is such a polite way to give herself a few seconds to think about her answer, I've heard her use that in a few interviews now. Professional, polite, and then into the answer.

As a person who is learning English, it's curious the way she emphasizes the 'Thanks' and 'Thank you' ( and the way she uses the word repeatedly) in the interviews.
The way she is saying it with an emphasis is the way you would say it if someone is really flattering you with compliments or gifts, for example.
It just means she really means it and is truly flattered.

famous women are usually asked TRASH questions in interviews, for example, the first question. so being asked real, thoughtful questions is like a high tier experience. hence the gratitude, at least i think.

To be honest, these might be questions we might already know the answers to, but at least the interviewer asked respectful questions. Unlike most people, she didn’t ask about outfits, hair, style, body image and more. You can see that Taylor really respected that because she kept saying “thank you for asking” multiple times :)

@@Sdority905 the question is indeed horrible but that doesn't guarantee her to get fired. Only that question is annoying. Other than that, she seems genuine and the other questions are okay. The reporter is much better than past reporters who focus more on Taylor's appearance than her arts
Other than the question on who it's about and the fact that she's in the short film which wasn't supposed to be spoiled, I'm glad she asked questions about her directorial process cause taylor is so excited to answer questions about her directorial process and Easter eggs she puts in as well, I wish more ppl asked her questions on her first experience as a director😍💞
