This was a fantastic edit.! I haven't been to Burke yet, and now want to go even more.! I discovered your channel while healing from a motorcycle accident. Loving the mix of perspective shots. I know pov footage is the easiest to deal with. But thanks for shooting some second perspective...gives the viewer a good look at the feature, and what it takes to ride it....Keep up the good work.!
finally a youtube vid of Freeride trail, rode Rude Awakening a lot this past season which is fun as hell too, next year def gunna hit Freeride trail after watching this. kudos
yep we lucked out and had a rad day in october... it's usually not even ridable that late but with the drought the trails were still relatively drier than usual
How does Freeride compare to Upper J-bar with the gnar? With the Go-Pro effect in full swing, it looked like beside the jumps and one drop, freeride looked easier in-terms of the gnar and steepness. Which trail do you think is harder? It looks like I am going to have to get back up to Burke in the spring to check Freeride out.
If you go look at the video I did in may of Jbar just look at how much you see my seat in jbar, VS the beginning of freeride. Freeride is MUCH steeper in the beginning and the tech on freeride will reach out and grab you. I don't want to undersell J-bar as far as tech but it's way easier than freeride...
Rode freeride yesterday and it is absolutely amazing how little justice the gopro does for how ridiculously steep it is

@@Projectnortheast Thanks for the response. That is good information to know!
Is Burke E bike friendly?
I honestly don't know ... that would be something to ask burke
@@Projectnortheast thanks guys and great review. Keep the solid content coming.
I know this is late, but Burke is NOT e bike friendly. Just on the roads around here.
Make sure your brakes are working properly before attempting! Trust me 😅
I can't wait to see if this trail is going to be in this years EWS race... would love to watch the best in the world come down this trail
Curious what it’s like mid summer vs late fall. I went late fall after heavy rain
So sick
