WONG KAR-WAI MONTH at The Frida Cinema - January 4 - February 1, 2025

Every year we must remind ourselves that to appreciate life is to experience pain and longing, sometimes so very achingly. Join us in the new year as we kick off 2025 with WONG KAR-WAI month, a month-long celebration of the Hong Kong Auteur whose hand can be felt in almost all of contemporary cinema, experimental or not. The series will cover the majority of his filmography, with fan favorites such as FALLEN ANGELS or lesser-appreciated early films like his debut AS TEARS GO BY.
