Fixing the BMW 3 series F30 rear lamp / turn signal malfunction.

I had been looking into this issue on my BMW for a while. A search of the forums and online didnt help much. I decided to take it apart and investigate.

2006 BMW Mini Cooper.....exactly the same issue. Can't believe it's carried through to the F30 BM!!!!

FCP Euro has the connector and wiring kit and DIY Video. The connector and ground wire cooks due to higher current. BMW Dealerships should fix it for free since it is a known defect....not sure there is a service bulletin.

mines gone now,, looks easy but where did you get the extender and did you drill through and what did yoy insert the cable into?

if you have the LED version you need a new lamp unit
