9:06 she mentioned " chim đại bàng" which is eagle 11:30 she mentioned the hand sign, which you might relate to the movie "Kong: Skull island" -filmed in Trang An, Ninh Binh 14:30 (after you bought bottles of water and came back on boat) she asked how old you are and she complimented that you both looks handsome and beautiful ( đẹp trai = handsome, xinh gái= beautiful) Despite the language barrier, it is super cute that she tried explaning every details to you guys. What a sweet lady!!! It is fantastic to see you guys meet wonderful people on this journey. If you want to capture such a more fantastic view of moutainous area of Vietnam, go for Ha Giang- the north pole of Vietnam (which shares the border with China). I am really sure that you would be speechless. Trang An- Ninh Binh is kind of getting involved with goverment's effort in turning into a tourist attraction, so it is not quite pure now. However, purity is what can be found in Ha Giang (at least now)
Your boat lady was so adorable trying to communicate with you guys. She's so strong at 60 and rowing up to 4 people for 3 hours!! The women there are so amazing, no? Capturing the children all lined up in their uniforms in the green fields and surrounded by mountains at the end was perfect!
Here what the lady handled our boat trip told me 3 years ago: The ladies rowing the boats in Trang An 2 - 3 times or even 4 times/week if in peak seasons. They all have jobs at home so this is like an extra job to earn more money to them. They get called in turn to make rowing trip like that. They were trained and organized to work fairly so that no one have to fight and get tourists. I was impressed with our lady as much as you guys were, they all seem nice and strong. Love to reminiscing my trip through ur video. And the sunset scene is one of great cinematography!!! ❤
Hiya Flora and Note, a Lovely place to stay. Beautiful views. Those ladies that row are legends. She was so sweet. Lovely boat tour. Thank you for taking us along. Beautiful drone footage. Loved to share in your delight of discovering this beautiful destination.
Beautiful video you guys. Ninh Binh is so stunningly beautiful. I visited that area and did that boat ride about 3 years ago, and I'm thinking about going again this year. If you have time, try to go to Hang Mua Viewpoint, it is spectacular! 😊

Love your video, thanks for sharing. I was wondering how did you have time to get the drone up during your boat ride? Did you had to get it up when they stop at a certain place?
Thanks for your Vlog . Ninh Binh is so stunningly beautiful. Because of this video , me and my team ( local VietNamese ) has been to Ninh Bình for the first time💗
Your capture a great view on top there. It's beautiful. I've been there once, would love to come back Trang An again. Happy to see you both enjoying your vacation in Vietnam.
Your drone shots really captured how beautiful the areas of Ninh Binh are...I'm in awe each and every time I see more of it, which you guys did a great job of sharing as much as possible. It's just breathtakingly gorgeous there - I would totally want a home next to one of those limestone mountains since they are so cool. I loved the garden on top of your hotel and the view from it.
We said the same thing! We'd love a house in Tam Coc 😆 We actually found this hotel using the drone.. it looked so beautiful so we drove there and checked-in!

Tam Coc, Ninh Binh is a famous tourist destination in Vietnam, your trip is wonderful, the video is very good and professional, thank you
Another awesome video😍👍😊… when I was in Hanoi I went on one of those boat tours at this place CHUA BAI DINA and the lady actually row the boat with her feet… there’s a lot more caves there and me being tall I had to duct my head a lot… and on the way back to Hanoi we stop by this restaurant where they did serve goat meat I tried it it was different
This is a great video. I will be in Vietnam from Waynesville North Carolina USA in January. Meeting my Vietnamese girlfriend in Ho Chi minh. She’s a school teacher. We have been long distance dating for nearly 3 years now. This will be our first time meeting each other. Her and I may take this tour. Enjoyed watching you both. Thank you 😊
Hi guys! Grettings once again from calgary. Your recent pics incredible, the scenery, solitude, temples and your hats, very enjoyable!! So peaceful and relaxing! Wow, I loved this vlog! The boat ride is so cheap at $10! After watching this, I have also decided to go there for a day. I am traveling there next month!
9:55 she was trying to imitate a bird. She was talking about an eagle (đại bàng) but I‘m not sure what else she was trying to say. But it‘s cute how she was trying to talk to you guys.
This place is so beautiful....thanks for sharing. I would love to visit here in July.i have a question, do you guys use Google maps to bike here? What happen is there is no internet?....will l be stranded in the middle of nowhere. Thanks Note and Flora...really appreciate.....🙏🙏
In Vietnam, you just need to meet someone asking for help, they will never refuse, even if they don't understand what you are saying, they will still enthusiastically help. In difficult cases, they will lead you to the police station for help from the local authorities. So the experience in Vietnam is to be brave to ask for help
So amazing. The caves are beautiful, the rice fields..so amazing to see. Question, what is the etiquette with the lady rowing the boat? Do you tip? She is crazy good and to be 60..wow
Tipping is probably up to you. When I went on tours like this in the US, I tipped, so I figure why shouldn't I tip when I'm in Vietnam...especially as they are paid way less and it's grandma doing an amazing job of rowing. 😁
It's so beautiful and way less crowded than it used to be. We know sometimes it can be hard to figure out how much to tip in a foreign country. We usually tip 10-20% of the tour price per person but in her case.. we tipped a bit more because we think it was really hard work!
Hi Flora & Note! Great job for having such beautiful videos and showing us the most beautiful places you went to. I notice most of your video clips have added in some drone shots which is very cool. I am thinking to bring my drone with me for the next visit to Vietnam. Can you tell me a bit about your experience of bringing drones into Vietnam? Is that okay and easy or any trouble to pass through the custom from VN airport? Do you need to register your drone or ask for permission from the local authorization office to fly?
I visited this place in April 2019 and yes I agree this place is awesome! We helped row our boat and we broke one of the paddles, haha! Btw, the King Kong that your guide was telling you about was the place where the movie Kong: Skull Island was filmed. A few of the “equipments” were left on that area.
Hollywood was in Ninh Binh in 2017 to shoot the movie “ King Kong : Skull Island “ with the actor Samuel Jackson. It’s a breathtaking place. Thank you for sharing this beautiful video. Have fun and take care. Greetings from Canada 🇨🇦. I am Vietnamese who lives in Canada.
@@FloraandNote . There are none good Vietnamese restaurants here , Toronto, Canada. Most of Vietnamese restaurants here owners are Chinese. They don’t know how to cook Vietnamese food. You can tell they don’t know the ingredients, spices of Việt food.
You have a good sense when you talked about Shang Chi scene. The scenery is amazing for movie. In fact, Trang An is one of three places in Viet Nam which is filmed for Kong Skull Island. :D
We passed by Skull Island on the boat tour.. but I think the route we chose didn't get to stop on the island (maybe route 1 or 3 you can). Pretty fascinating though. Now we have to watch the movie!
@@FloraandNote Absolutely agree and the river rowing through the caves was beautiful! There's also an ***incredible*** palace/temple complex in the area as well!
Hi guys, loved your videos & chemistry and the beautiful drone shots. I am planning to visit Vietnam next month, just wanted to know if you took some permission to fly the drone there. How was your experience flying your drone in terms of police and all?
@@FloraandNote thanks for replying. I read online that you need to take permission for each flight. Did you take those or just flew & no one bothered you guys?
@@WanderingMonk Technically, you do need a permit to fly your drones in Vietnam. However, many people did it without issues...just don't fly in military or restricted areas (e.g. I think Da Nang is near an airport so don't fly there, but can fly outside the city).

Great video guys, we can’t wait to visit later this year! 😍 What were you using to translate? Is it an app? :)
Thanks! We were using Google Translate.. you can download the language so you can use it offline too 😊
Super nice vlog with very nice explanation. Happy vlogging.
Thank you, Flora & Note, for recommending Liberty Hall Tam Coc. We had a fantastic 2 days there.
We're so glad! We really enjoyed our time there too.
Hola Flora y Note, lindo el vídeo, me encanta Note😍
ภาพสวยมากครับ ทุ่งนา กะ เขาหินปูน ดูเงียบ สงบ ร่มเย็น จะติดตามชมต่อไปครับ...
Thanks Tom! We had no problems bringing the drone into Vietnam. Just remember not to check-in the batteries!
@@FloraandNote Thank you! So you carry on both the batteries and the drone. or just batteries. then check in the Drone?
Flora “We’re playing charades here” 😂 Another great video, thank you!
love your vlog so much, so natural ❤️❤️
Thanks so much for watching!
I visited this place in April 2019 and yes I agree this place is awesome! We helped row our boat and we broke one of the paddles, haha! Btw, the King Kong that your guide was telling you about was the place where the movie Kong: Skull Island was filmed. A few of the “equipments” were left on that area.
The lady boat is awesome😍
This place is so beautiful particularly the location of the temple which is so so so serene
I've been here. Here was much better than Halong bay personally.
Absolutely beautiful video.😊
We'll have to find out for ourselves as we're going to Halong Bay next!
We still have to watch the movie! Where do you live in Canada? Any good Vietnamese food around there? 😊
@@FloraandNote . There are none good Vietnamese restaurants here , Toronto, Canada. Most of Vietnamese restaurants here owners are Chinese. They don’t know how to cook Vietnamese food. You can tell they don’t know the ingredients, spices of Việt food.
Welcome to Vietnam. Welcome to Ninh Binh. There are many beautiful places to visit in Vietnam
We agree, Vietnam is very beautiful :) We're excited to be here
Very beautifully captured the place❤❤
You have a good sense when you talked about Shang Chi scene. The scenery is amazing for movie. In fact, Trang An is one of three places in Viet Nam which is filmed for Kong Skull Island. :D
We passed by Skull Island on the boat tour.. but I think the route we chose didn't get to stop on the island (maybe route 1 or 3 you can). Pretty fascinating though. Now we have to watch the movie!
I stayed at Liberty Hall back in 2020 and it was a fantastic hotel! Was really great to relax there for a few days on my ride across Vietnam.
Amazing! We also loved it 😍 The location, the staff, the view.. such a memorable stay!
@@FloraandNote Absolutely agree and the river rowing through the caves was beautiful! There's also an ***incredible*** palace/temple complex in the area as well!
คุณโน๊ต ฟอร่ากับคุณป้าพายเรือน่ารักมากๆดูไปก็ยิ้มไปขำไป มีความสุขมาก
Amazing video and views!
Which month did you visit Ninh Binh? The weather looks really nice
Awesome views, what a cool tour guys!
Thanks you guys! Vietnam is just full of surprises 💕
Ninh Binh is so beautiful 🤩
👍👍👍 this place is so beautiful and so are you both ❤️
Hi guys, loved your videos & chemistry and the beautiful drone shots.
I am planning to visit Vietnam next month, just wanted to know if you took some permission to fly the drone there. How was your experience flying your drone in terms of police and all?
Thank you so much :) We didn't encounter any problems flying the drone in Vietnam
@@FloraandNote thanks for replying. I read online that you need to take permission for each flight. Did you take those or just flew & no one bothered you guys?
Just flew and no one bothered us 😉
@@WanderingMonk Technically, you do need a permit to fly your drones in Vietnam. However, many people did it without issues...just don't fly in military or restricted areas (e.g. I think Da Nang is near an airport so don't fly there, but can fly outside the city).
the two of you went right in the nice weather
What she meant at 10:04: The mountain has the shape of an eagle spreading its wings and flying.
ahhh I see... we appreciated her trying to explain everything to us! She's so sweet
You can visit pineapple fields nearly Tam Coc, not far and so large🥰🥰
Amazing video guys! So happy you are both enjoying Vietnam❤️
We're loving it here! Thanks Claire :)
