Sad news today. 27/10/2019. Sadly Anne Phelan who played Myra has passed away. I loved her portrayal of Myra. She was loved by many. Rest in peace always. As the lovely Jane Clifton (Margo) said today, “Light out Myra. Rest in peace” x

Don't understand why Myra or Judy did not lag on Angel for setting up Meg. They have already acknowledged that there are times when lagging is acceptable so i would think this was one of those times.
There have been numerous times when prisoners have lagged or came very close to lagging
on one another. one would think that if they held Meg in such high esteem and given the fact that they are all women they would come to her Aid. for Myra to tell Meg we know what happened and we think we know what it was all about and then say but I can't tell you anything is worse than saying nothing at all.
burbercat YEAH THERE ARE CERTAIN THINGS THE WAY THE SERIES WORK THAT MAKE UOU THINK THE SERIES IS SO FAKE.
I think we just have to accept that the whole lagging code is flexible according to how the writers wanted the plots to pan out
Myra lagged on Bev, the rule is super inconsistent
They wanted to fix her themselves plus give any info they could to Meg. No woman would forgive what she did.
Once again, Bobbie's no fool... she immediately caught on to the fact that The Freak's "accident" in the stairwell was a bungled job meant for Kean!
Myra was such a good addition to the cast
The Freak gathers charge upon charges against her and they refuse to fire her. Poor old Stan loses his keys and they are ready to get rid of him! This show can be a bit unbelievable at times!! 🤔
It's unbelievable that Reb didn't finish the Freak off , she must have known despite the Freaks pleading that she would only continue to make her life a living hell and try another time . One of the most pointless cliff hangers of the series
wild 72 It’s because Reb has somewhat of a conscience underneath and she doesn’t want to kill anyone, despite knowing what the Freak is like and what she is capable of. 😃

mind I much prefer this reb than how they have portrayed her in Wentworth I love Wentworth but think they have seriously got this wrong......
I LOVE Myra!!! That calm, low tone of voice she has dealing with adversaries but the intense stare is da bomb!!! Chrissie got off easy with the wee haircut she was given back in the day compared to Angel's epic new 'do! The little Heathen deserves much worse though and I hope there IS worse to come!!! And How deliciously evil is poor Meg!!! Bobbie's CAPSLOCK shouting is beyond annoying and I can't see her weed enterprise turning out well. Speaking of hair - Kerren's dried-up raggedy thatch is in desperate need of help! And to hell with this twerp trying to force Stan out of his job! This episode ending... rather abrupt. Oh well - onto the next episode!!

The whole plot of Stan having to hide from his wife that he's working as a handyman is one of those silly, unbelievable farce plots that invariably involved peripheral characters. His wife is a cartoon character.

Myra has always been one of my favorite all time characters on prisoner cell block h. I will miss her terribly. She's so cool under pressure. She's the closest replacement to Queen Bea Smith that I've seen.
I think Queen Bea and Myra make a good team.
Myra: "We don't try and stick our noses into other peoples business." That's a laugh. The whole show is based around a bunch of drama queens stuck in a prison.

very abrupt! similar to one many moons ago where it seemed to be tacked on the end just to fill in time.
Myra was actually being rather smart here because she made Angel pay for what happened but in a controlled way that never involved severe violence, which in turn, would have only have reflected back on her and the girls in the long run. Stan taking an interest in Bobbie is exactly the stabling influence she has been lacking up till now, I hope it works out. Time they killed off Dot. This hate story involving Ann is certainly being dragged out, it seems to have been going on forever.
I have a feeling it will be stretched out the end of this season is in a few episodes I'm guessing the season 6 finale will have something to do with this story line...
Notice how Myra's been having a dig at Judy's weight lately... "Throwing your weight around a bit, aren't you?" And in previous episode she emphasised a "wide berth" when talking to Judy about another matter. Ummm LOL. And I can't help but still laugh at Marie Winter referring to Judy as Myra's pet gorilla (especially when Judy wears that brown robe)! 🤣
Get a grip Myra! It's her head you should be shaving off, not her hair.
Because shaving her hair harms her psychologically, a few punches in the mouth and the pain goes away eventually. It takes a long time for hair to grow back though

Originally the ending was going to be Mrs Reynolds running into her house and bumping into the inspector and seeing blood all over her house with the inspector telling her that the policeman watching the house had been mutilated but the writers changed it last minute thinking it was too gruesome after complaints about Bobby's hand being cut open a few episodes back

Its annoying when a lot of scenes suddenly cut off, as if they don't want us to see a particular scene (ie right at the end) which they prob have decided to cut out at the last minute

Never thought I'd say this but I'm starting to like Reb. She could have slammed her foot down on that Freak's hand and ended it but she chose not to and even went so far as to get help. I was a secretary and my pay wasn't that spectacular. In the early 2000s (Australia) something like $420 a week. I wasn't a sexy Secretary of course.

Liked bea as top dog but she was always curious and wanted too know what other inmates were in for , as with myra she was more for just waiting if that person wanted too talk or not, she never asked she just got on with what she needed too do.
