While you're here lurking on other people's channels, Have a watch of DOXA by Monuments. Check out the EMGTV video that Browne did and have the same kind of aneurism the rest of us had figuring out what his right hand was doing.
@@dmusiclife5727 my man, big fan of the channel bro! One that I always find myself going back to🙏🏻 looking forward to seeing more Meshuggah, a truly insane band..they’ve also got a new album coming hopefully early 2022 so that’s one to look out for as well dude! But definitely check out Lethargica from the Obzen album. That entire album is absolutely ridiculous from start to finish 🔥
Yes, BLEED ♥️♥️👍🏻 I Play drumms, but this song and Bleed is so hard to play. Really hard. I have train so many hours, still cant play 100% correct. ♥️👍🏻
5:56 One of the best drops of all time. * Chuckles in lethargica * You guys❤️ I'm so stoked about you both starting this meshuggah journey. I'm in the rabbit hole of this band's music since like past 5-6 months and the grooves have helped me alot in my fitness journey in the gym. As starters before diving deep, I recommend bleed and new millennium cyanide christ coz they're like the most popular meshuggah tracks apart from demiurge.
2 of the best days of my life were attending Meshuggah concerts! You could never imagine the energy that flows through your body, I'm a skinny dude but I turn into a beast in the pit when I see these guys, it's amazing!!
I was at this show they filmed this in NYC.. That was the first time I saw Meshuggah back in 2012. They opened up with this song and the whole Fcking floor exploded!! Hands down one of the best shows I’ve ever been to!!
Oh man, I've tried suggesting "i" to other content creators also, like no one has reacted to this song and it's a shame! It's a 20 minute face melt with a few ambient breaks. Some of Meshuggah's mostly oddly catchy riffs are in "I". Seriously, the riffs just pop in my head, and you can't shake them off! If you guys want to cover some Meshuggah that deserves a massive spotlight react to "I"! It just does not get enough props.
My votes: * Straws Pulled At Random: underrated song in my opinion, there's one particular section that's just beautiful * Pravus: do the live version. Has one of the best metal screams I've ever seen
Dude, been a long time watcher but have never commented. Your videos bring me so much joy. Seeing other people get so excited about music and understand how enriching it is is just so enjoyable. Gojira is tied for my favorite band w RHCP and I rewatch the shit out of your reactions to them.
You guys have the right kinda energy for this band. I skateboard across town to Meshuggah every day to work with these songs on the playlist- bleed, clockworks, pitch black, break those bones whose sinews gave it motion, new mellenium cyanide Christ, I, demiurge, combustion, obzen, dancers to a discordant system, the demons name is surveillance, lethargica, rational gaze, closed eye visuals, swarm, spasm, gods of rapture... It goes hahah They inspire motion in me.
Try to imagine how it's live at one of their concerts. Don't try, you can't. I've been to two of them. I can't describe it to you. Go find them wherever they play.
Haha I always get a kick out of seeing people react when that first drop hits. It's so good. There's so many great songs by Meshuggah. I want to see you guys react to what I consider their best song. Simply titled "I". A 21 minute classic that showcases everything that is Meshuggah.
I’ve seen Meshuggah three times. I saw them in 2005 on the Catch Thirtythree tour, 2008 on the Obzen tour, and 2012 on the Koloss tour (the album Demiurge is on). Meshuggah is the best metal band still making music and touring. In my opinion, after PANTERA, Meshuggah is the most important metal band in history. The drummer, Tomas Haake (pronounced “Hawk-eh”), is untouchable. He plays in two different time signatures most of the time - matching the rhythm, but always keeping that bounce via 4/4 snare phrasing and metric modulation (pushing and pulling the time without changing the surrounding rhythm). They NAIL all their songs live and rarely practice. They are TOO good. Alien talent. I recommend drum cam videos of either “Bleed” or “Clockworks” next; it’ll show you how insane Tomas Haake is. Also, I recommend the song that started it all “Future Breed Machine” - along with a personal favorite of mine “Sickening” which doesn’t get enough credit.
F yeah!!! The badasses from Sweden. I have tickets to see these guys in February. Demiurge is the fn shit!! You gotta do a review of Bleed, Rational Gaze, Pravus, Clockworks. Dude that drop 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Some slightly lesser known great Meshuggah tracks: Break Those Bones Whose Sinew Gave it Motion, Nostrum, The Demon's Name is Surveillance and War. If you dare you could also check out I.

Meshuggah one or the best ever. They have so many great songs like this. This is one of their more simple straightforward tracks actually. Keep going with them.
Live at Summer Breeze Germany 2019 blew my mind. I knew only bleed and this song going into it. WOW.. "The Hurt that finds you first" into "Rational Gaze" I can't stop watching it. Rational Gaze is my Favorite so far but the transition between the two is magic. I have to see these guys live. Tour coming up in March 2022 on the west coast. Also, I think they are playing with Opeth this year as well. holy crap!!!
And New millennium.... This is the masterpiece that turned me on to Meshuggah in '98. Plus Adam Jones from Tool praised a them and is a huge fan. They are too fn good.
